To keep the review system fair, Fiverr requires you to rate the buyer before you can see their reply. Obviously, if you can see the reply, you would automatically give them a bad rating. So they want you to say exactly what you feel when rating a buyer, not base your rating  on their own rating.

That is called Private feedback, which is given by a buyer when he purchases and service from you. And he doesn't get the notification of that after you deliver the order. He gets it after 1 day when you will deliver your services to the client. This is how actually it works 🙂

obviously yes, your gig rank gets effects for this. And I think it is a really good step because it's 2024 if a person comes on with low skills and think about earning money by selling poor quality services then he should change his midset and upgrade his skills
