Account Restricted

Hi All,

I am facing a unique issue related to my account. Recently I received a notification related to ID verification and I uploaded documents as required along with a selfie. After a few days I received notification that my account was restricted due to ID Verification not being completed. I again tried to upload documents but this time the process was not completed and there was no further option to re-upload.

I contacted CS with my issue, the CS told me that my request had been forwarded to the concerned team & would get back to me with an update. It has been 5 days since then and there was no further update despite several reminders from my end.

I am facing a severe impact due to the restriction as all of my gigs are denied mode & no client can contact me now.

Is anyone faced similar situations in the past and is there any way to overcome the situation? Any suggestion would be helpful.

HI @souravmandal83 - Unfortunately this isn't a unique problem but all of the sellers I know who had their accounts shut down due to ID verification issues had their accounts restored.

I know how hard it can be to wait for 5 days with no response from CS. My account was restricted for 6 days and it was really hard when I couldn't even communicate with my buyers to explain why.

At this point, CS has all the information needed to help you and further follow-ups from you might trigger an account warning. So wait patiently. I know this is super hard to do when you can't do anything but CS is the only way you can get your account back up, so it's worth it to be patient with them. It can take time for CS to get back with you, but let them respond first (even if you have to wait for several days) before sending another reply.

I'll tag @Lena onto this thread so that she can just follow up on your ticket to make sure it's being handled properly.

I completely understand how you feel, you must be worried. But please know that the CS is doing their job thoroughly and that is why it takes longer sometimes. Please be patient. You will receive an email when they are done.

i am in the same situation,

i got  restricted due to ID Verification , they said can't verify my ID , but i provide very clear and real photos and which meet requirement definitely.

i contacted the CS too. but 24 hrs passed, no one replied.

what can i do for this?

Hi @souravmandal83 I hope you uploaded your ID perfectly without edit the image. Most of the people take a photo of the id put on his hand with showing 4 corner perfectly with extra space. I hope you did same. Your issue is very unique. It can take time for CS to get back with you, I suggest you to contact them again. I hope It will solve soon.
