How can I get my Gig ranked higher?
Promoting your gigs on social media, websites, or blogs is a great way to bring more traffic to your gig. The more traffic, the more exposure you will receive in our marketplace. Completing your orders on time and providing exceptional service can also affect your ranking. As long as you are doing well in these areas, your ranking will improve.

The above is from the Help Centre.

I know fiverr is a famous marketplace I am coming to fiverr as a new seller.  It would be helpful if someone could tell me how to get my first order. How do I get my space on fiverr?

Kindly read this topic but ignore Buyer Requests part as it's no more on Fiverr.

The first gig I gave had a good impression and good clicks but no orders coming. Are my gig perfect for getting job in fiverr marketplace? So if there is any problem with my gigs please let me know.

If you have good impressions and clicks but no orders, that means Fiverr is showing you to buyers, they are interested enough to click and view your gigs, and then they decide not to buy. They move on to place orders with your competition.

In order to get orders, you will have to update your profile and gigs so that prospective buyers will want to buy from you. Buyers will buy from you if they think you are trustworthy, credible, and capable. Here are some issues that I found in your gigs:

1. You list English as fluent but your profile and gigs have too many spelling and grammatical errors in them. Your gig thumbnail has great English (so buyers click on it) but then they see your profile and gigs. This may be a reason why buyers choose not to place an order. Your English isn't what you say it is, so they will question the validity of anything else that you claim. They will also question the quality of your work, because they will expect error-free work from a data entry virtual assistant.

2. You mention "Sir" many times throughout your bio and gigs - use "you" instead of "sir" so that you aren't alienating any female buyers who visit your gigs.

3. You offer round-the-clock support, unlimited revisions, and 100% money-back guarantee. This opens the door for abuse from buyers and a lot of headache. You may find your team doing a lot for free because of unlimited revisions, cancelations, and round-the-clock requests from your clients. You also don't instill buyer confidence in your skills if you are offering unlimited revisions and their money back (before they even order).

Yes. Be honest about your English level. Correct all of your spelling and grammatical errors (they are everywhere including your gig titles and FAQs). Get rid of the "Sirs," round-the-clock support, unlimited revisions, and 100% money-back guarantee.

⬆️ This is what buyers are looking for. If your profile and gigs don't communicate trustworthiness, credibility, or capability, buyers will not order from you.

Let's see if my gig is ok now?

Hi @ruhelmiah10, you only fully addressed 1 of the 6 of my suggestions (and they are suggestions, so you can do whatever you would like with them).

The "Sirs" are gone and some of the spelling/grammar has been fixed (not all, so at least fix that). Attention to detail and consistency in your work are two traits that are important for a data entry specialist to have. The attention that you put into your gigs reflects that, and buyers will be looking at the quality of your gig to determine the quality of your services.

To know if your gig is okay, you need to monitor its performance over time. If you still aren't getting orders, that means your profile and gigs aren't convincing buyers to buy.

I have some questions for experienced sellers. It's been almost 25 days since I gave my first gig. Now I edited my gig and added a video. Will I have any problem in that case? I heard that if the gig is edited, the rank is lost. Please can someone give me information about this?

Thank you

Ma'am, I edited my gig today. I was talking to the Fiverr support team and a member of the support team told me to add a video to my gig and write my description more clearly. please ma'am, check my gig.

You could rather create a new gig using your video as your gig's video banner. It would rank up your gig so faster. Don't edit any existing gig except you have 5-10 orders in your existing gig. It's better creating a new gig.

Hi @ruhelmiah10 - it does look a lot better (especially the video edits that you made)! I agree with Fiverr support to add a gig video to your virtual assistant gig and to improve your gig descriptions for both gigs. Currently the descriptions are pretty generic and just list skills that any data entry specialist or virtual assistant can do. Focus on results and your unique selling proposition - what makes you unique and why should they pick you over other sellers who are offering the same service?

Once you make changes to your gig, watch your impressions, clicks, and orders to see if your gig changes are effective (check weekly, and adjust monthly if necessary).

Hello, don't fall for those myths. Fiverr highly encourages videos on your gigs, your gigs will be down for 48-72 hours, but they shall be back to their original positions after that review time. It's a good move from you!
