Promoted Gigs

Hello,

I am getting good amount of impressions and clicks through promoted gigs feature and also fair impression to click ratio but no one contacted me yet.
It's been a while I turned on this feature.
I am a Level One Seller and got all 5 star reviews.
Could anyone provide me some input regarding my Gig if something is not right?

My Gig: https://www.fiverr.com/henscheldayam/compose-original-song-with-vocals-for-you

I am aware of the Gig title in the above link not matching with my Gig title. But this happened in the beginning and I couldn't change it.
However my services include song production too and so far everything is fine with this.

Thank you for your time.

Regards,

Henschel Dayam

I listened to a bit of your main sample. I like the melody/harmony, but there's no dynamics. Reverb, fadeout, vibrato, etc. It sounds like it was performed in a sound booth, not a concert hall.

The main problem I see, though, is there's no hint as to cost-per-bar/second. Yes, I see the 'contact you first', but most buyers (I think) would be looking for '30-second loop' or '2-minute tune' or '8-bar jingle'.

Between a 'dead' sounding sample and zero-idea of your true pricing, I'd probably move on as well.

Hello imagination7413,

Thank you very much for your feedback. I appreciate it.

I agree with the dynamics of the sample. It's an old sample and the clients were fine with it then so I didn't make any changes.
I focused more on the mixing of the samples and percussion so choose this. I will reproduce the track with more dynamics and post again. Thank you.

Regarding pricing I thought I mentioned on the price page with packages like this much amount for this many seconds.

You mean I need to mention that in the description on the price page too?

But if you mean mentioning that in the Gig description I noticed that most composers didn't mention in the description either about pricing as there is separate page for that I think.

Could you please enlighten me on this?

Thank you very much.

Ah. I missed that the time was in the box.

My suggestion would be to put it in the package title. As a Seller, you want that information to be as plain and apparent as possible. So, something like "30 seconds for $25" Fiverr's provided that space, might as well utilize it. Think of it like a menu item. When you give your order to the server, you say something like "I'd like the double cheeseburger, please" or "I'll have a slice of the pepperoni pizza".

Also, (and I can't believe I missed this the first time,) GET RID OF UNLIMITED. If you want to offer 500 instruments, fine, that's your choice. But unlimited MEANS unlimited. Have you seen this thread yet? https://community.fiverr.com/forums/topic/220973-top-5-tips-to-protect-yourself-from-badly-behaved-buyers/

Hello,

Thank you very much for your input and suggestions and the video link. It helps a lot.

I understood regarding the package title. I believe it is an effective idea.

Regarding your mention of unlimited instruments I think there is a difference between unlimited revisions as talked about in the video and unlimited instruments. Obviously unlimited revisions is not a good idea and I agree and I have been offering limited revisions all this time. But unlimited instruments is not an issue I believe because for specific duration of a track we can only create enough number as it sounds messy if there is so much going on and human ear too can only perceive enough.

Even if an odd client mentions something like that he cannot bear to hear that many number of instruments clashing against each other for space during specific duration of a track. My intention of mentioning unlimited instruments is that I am not limited to specific number and I will go on with how I feel about the track. Most sellers who are experienced on Fiverr mentioned the same because it is not possible to create some tracks with limited number or limiting ourselves is like limiting creativity.

It is possible to mention limited number but it is not possible to predict accurately how many instruments we can mention in the description as each project or track is different.

So I felt most clients may feel limited and move on.

Maybe you could put a note about it in the FAQ. Isn't there some limit in the software you use? If a buyer asked for 32,000 instruments (or a million) would you actually add that amount? If not, maybe changing it to an upper limit might be better, with a note in the FAQ, eg. that could say you recommend x amount (or up to x amount) for y types of music. Or is it that the upper fixed limit that Fiverr gives is too low so for that reason you need to put unlimited to allow for higher ones (if so, maybe a note in the gig somewhere could clarify)?

Thank you for the suggestion.

Regarding 32k or 1 million instruments it's illogical. No one in their right mind would ask that and no composer would work with such people. I think just because some terms exist like 'unlimited' in this context doesn't mean it's in its truest sense as no one would keep on working on a project offering unlimited instruments or revisions.

We cannot explain each and every term elaboratively or the description or FAQ won't be enough. People with common sense would understand most general terms. Fiverr probably might be aware of that as the option "unlimited" in this category is given by them but not I who customised it.

I noticed no experienced Fiverr seller music composer mentioned about this topic "unlimited instruments" anywhere in his description or FAQ.
