Strange contact messages on Telegram, is this normal?

They are Fake and trying to Scam you, That's Why!

Just Report these messages and block them!

Hey,

They are spammer. When you get that type of massage, instantly mark as spam. Even you can block them.

If you mark as spammer then sure Fiverr will take action ASAP. So, another seller will get rid of them also.

Also, contact outside of Fiverr is totally against Fiverr Terms and Conditions.

I used to get people all the time that looked like bots responding to my Gigs and asking to contact them on Telegram. Then Fiverr team would automatically cancel their ability to have a conversation. Now I barely get impressions on the Fiverr gigs but I do get quiet a few views on my website. I was really hoping to be able to get this business going already and its been a couple years of supporting and sharing. Anyone want to share here as @Fiverr themselves said that using this forum is where the clients come from by creating clout with fellow sellers who want to buy our gig.

I am Dave from Gujarat State, India a new member to Fiverr. I am actually a PhD Candidate who loves Freelancing in creative writing , translation and content/copy engraving. I have got more then 10 fake messages by some buyers whose user Id is like hqwxtd , they chat and send invitation to search their userd Id of T-l-e-g-r-a-m. As they type Telegram with commas and sign so that AI of Fiverr can not spot out it as telegram. Does anyone receive/face such experience. Let's share !

Hi Dave,

many of us do receive such and the best way of dealing it to simply report them.

fiverr don't allow outside communication or any handling to make a fair platform for everyone to help and share.

It also protect you and your work to work on the fiverr rather to communicate outside.

I suggest you to block or report those users and if matter continuous just drop a ticket on fiverr support to resolve the matter.

The majority of clients do not want to work via Fiverr. They always propose via Telegram. In this case, what can we do as a new seller?
