Yes. I was told that I am not to ban users outright and after making my case, it was obviously not enough as my ban was lifted.

Too bad. I mean, I know that, strictly speaking, you're not supposed to ban people, but somebody had to step in and put a stop to abusive behavior.

For what it's worth, I think you did the right thing, and I'm glad you jumped in to help.

I don’t enjoy having authority or playing bad cop.

I saw a user that had no place being here, hurting members of this community and I made a judgement call.

My only concern was protecting the community.

All the data up to that point lead me to believe that this user wasn’t going to stop there. And unfortunately, I was proven right.

Thank you for reports and screenshots. I'm sorry that everyone had to endure continued harassment. Actions will be taken to ensure this won't happen again.
