Yes it's monthly but you can use for free. The free version is good for beginning.

Do you have enough people who shared their email with you willingly and subscribed to receive marketing emails from you?

if not then you will be just spamming

You can use MailChimp, but you will need a list of audiences, to prevent spamming.
