Gigs are dry, no clients coming in!

I have been on the platform for over an year. Now, I think I am lost in the algorithm that I can’t figure out. If these gigs had physical form, mine’s would have had spider webs all over. Any suggestions?
I have done some research, did a little tweaking but can not find my gigs within the first 10 pages!
What am I missing? How can I improve, if I can?
