  1. One can spam others for sure but the likelihood of getting orders is almost nil !!
  2. If I start mentioning every bug, the list will probably never end but I will try my best to name some. And I am aware that I am posting this in the 'Lounge' and not the 'Feedback' category because I have no hopes that Fiverr will even look at these issues and try to solve them. Some bugs have been there for more than 3 years, but still no resolution -- so, cough cough, no words to say anything. 1. Data of Promoted Gigs not updating: That's a different story as to how 80% of clicks through promoted gigs are just spam but today, my promoted gigs have stopped updating the data. For the past 9 hours, the same data has been visible and it's not updating. So, I have no clue how much I am spending, and due to the fear of getting a long bill of 1 million dollars (lmao, can't trust that I don't see a bug with billing), I have stopped promoting gigs until this issue is fixed. 2. I wrote a ticket to customer support to take a look at this issue of not updating Promoted gigs data -- and after a few minutes, I received this super-cute reply: just a single letter "s". And the best part is that on the Help Center website, there is no response visible at all, like nobody replied to my ticket. Bruh, what the hell is going on with Fiverr? I have no clue whether someone has replied, not replied, or just replied with this spam (spam from customer support, wow). 3. Whenever we keep our Fiverr app running in the background and open it again, this is what iPhone users see: nothing much but just a heart attack that they are banned from the platform. So, if you're owning an iPhone, good luck my friend, and don't forget to clear the app from 'Recent apps' every time. Apple was so proud that their phones don't lag even when you keep running multiple apps in the background that they didn't even release a 'close all' button -- but now, keep playing with this closing and opening game. And yes, my Fiverr app is fully updated, so please do not suggest updating the app. Not just me, but many iPhone users are facing this bug. 4. The new level system was launched on February 14 (the day of love) for all sellers, but if you go to your Analytics tab, you will see this message. Don't tell me that a billion-dollar company has a shortage of website developers that they do not even have time for 20 seconds to delete a few lines of code and remove this message from here. Bruh, if your website developers do not have time, then why don't you just go ahead and hire a $5 gig from your own platform so that someone else can remove it. It's been almost two months! Please do something and don't ruin the 'User experience'! 🙂🙂 5. No profile picture in order history for specific clients: I get it that it's not a big deal, but this bug has been there for the past ~3 years (since I joined the platform). Ever heard of 'User Experience'? And not to mention how hard it is to navigate/search the orders from the history. Can't you just give a 'notes' headline instead of just showing the repetitive gig name? That gig name means nothing to me and does not help in finding any order from the history. 6. Deliveries auto-changing the messages: No matter what you write in the delivery message box, after entering it, it will just change to a completely random text. I think this was fixed yesterday, but still, I would LOVE to count it in my list. Imagine how many sellers & buyers suffered from the headache and confusion due to this. Read more about this bug here: 7. Just now, someone posted that a buyer managed to bypass the 'Request to Order'. I hope that Fiverr is not launching a new tier: "Seller Plus: Double Premium," which ensures that you won't face bugs in RTO. Read about this here: 8. Lots and lots of bugs in custom offers that we faced last to last week. Custom offers were auto-expiring, there was no option of gig extras, and so on. Can't even mention all those countless bugs with custom offers. 9. The 'Online' and 'Last Seen' feature is completely bugged in the inbox. This bug has been there for the past 2-3 years at least (or maybe more), and imagine the awesome feeling of texting with the client and still, it shows you that the client was last seen 3 hours ago, lmao! 10. And countless more bugs (that are currently fixed but sometimes occur) --- such as wrong order queue number, notifications not working, and so on.
  3. In the inbox put your mouse over the message. It should show 3 dots on the top right of the message. Click that and a menu should show with an option to report and one for "mark as spam". So Fiverr still haven't stopped people changing their display names to "Fiverr Support" despite the previous reported accounts and posts about it.

  6. Hello, my name is Kaue, I'm an image retoucher, I've only been on Fiverr for a short time, but I've been putting together a portfolio for a long time and thinking about how I'm going to set up my gigs until then that I decided to do it and go deep into getting jobs here. I don't know, I have the impression that it was good here at one time or only those with a good reputation get good buyers, have any of you noticed this? Even so, I decided to continue I received my first message, wow!!! a boom of joy, until I read the message and it was something like - wow, your gig is everything we need, we were looking for someone like you, please contact me on this - social network - "Mr. Spam" A bucket of cold water, ok, I reported it and block In the middle of the night I woke up Mr. Spam 2 now, I reported it and block, and so I believe that up to the 12th user, sometimes they changed the way they wrote, giving space in the name "s o c i a l M e d i a" sometimes they sent a photo with the name of the network profile written in the worst handwriting, and so it was. Today I received a new one from a user @ anything that I tapped on the keyboard, with the Fiverr profile logo, saying that my account was suspended and that I would have to send him my email to do a simple verification. Hahahaha.. on the one hand it's funny, but on the other hand the real reason for being here is completely obsolete, partly because of spam and partly because Fiverr doesn't have many criteria for those who create a new group and become co-participants in this spam. I believe I should stay a little longer, maybe I'll see the part of the work that I really want. Thank you and good work everyone!
  7. Hi, can someone please check my performance and correct me? In addition, I receive a lot of spam messages along the lines of working on the Telegram platform. I'm afraid it's some kind of scam. I would appreciate guidance and advice from those with experience https://www.fiverr.com/s/3Xp80r
  8. Hello, I just got my first warning for Spam violation. How should I process when some sellers don't answer me or just can't do the work ? Should I always make an original contact message? I also have a seller that I can't contact anymore because of TOS violation. It was not because of spam because we spoke an other language and it's an original message. I don't know why I can't contact him anymore. Translation of message : Is it because there is the word payment ? I don't know which violation I've done. Thank you for reading. _________________________________________________________________________________________
  9. HI Everyone last day i discuss my client to do next task on fiverr zoom meeting today i try to message fiverr client to start task but when i message client immediatly i see this message it always happens when i contact client after order complete am i wrong or fiverr any sugestions please, thank you
  10. At least compared to upwork, which is the only other platform that can compare in terms of size and market penetration, Fiverr looks way less professional and lower end.
  11. Hi @kartik7679! The important thing when it comes to promoting your gigs on social media is that it requires a strategic and consistent approach. It's not enough to just spam users with links to your gig. I wrote a post highlighting some helpful tips for this on the Seller's Best Practice board. You can check it out here:
  12. Buying SEO services on Fiverr, especially those involving paid links, isn't the wisest move. Google can detect link spam, and while some links or other black hat techniques might give you a temporary boost, they never provide long-term high rankings. In the worst cases, you could even get blacklisted in the search results. And yes, it is too good to be true: why would anyone work for free forever? That’s usually a promise from scammers. With that said, such sellers shouldn't even be on Fiverr. But if you want to invest in SEO, go for quality content from professional copywriters. Expect to pay much more than $161, but in return, you'll get truly valuable content that's well-written and won’t get you penalized in search results. Plus, there's no such thing as a lifetime guarantee on Fiverr. Once an order is complete, that's it. Instead of wasting money on dishonest sellers who offer lifetime revisions and "incredible" results for practically nothing ($161 is nothing when it comes to SEO), invest wisely in quality content.
  13. I don't have the energy to report every single spam post. So, I want to draw the attention of staff members to this spam issue. The forum was spammed 3-4 hours ago and the spammer has created more than 29 posts. It's been 4 hours but the staff have not taken any action -- probably because no one else has reported anything. Can any available staff member please take a look at this and delete all these posts? After deleting those, please feel free to delete this post as well (if you want). @Kesha @Lena @milos_siena @frank_d @williambryan392
  14. My success score recently dropped from 8 to 6 also. Here are some thoughts I've had around some of the new ratings. Effective Communication If a Buyer is "ineffective" themselves at communication, I can see them viewing a conversation with a capable Seller as "ineffective". I don't see how Fiverr can accurately & objectively rate a buyers 'communication'. For example, someone with poor communication skills could see Seller A being poor at communicating, but a buyer with better communication skills themselves could see Seller B as more than capable. It's purely subjective. The lack of transparency in terms of examples of these "bad behaviours" isn't great. At the very least, we should be able to see objective examples of any "poor performance" in order to rectify it, rather than Fiverr hiding behind blog posts & "tips on how to improve", when we are seeing no hard evidence of such behaviour. If we were able to see these examples, we could quickly see that it is likely either a misunderstanding or an unhappy client with another agenda. Client Satisfaction What if a client is "unsatisfied" because they failed to clearly communicate their needs to me, & are therefore unhappy with the order. 1. The client fails to clearly communicate their requirement to me. 2. I deliver the order as described by the client. 3. As the client didn't describe the requirement clearly, they are 'unsatisfied' with the order. In this example, I can easily see where a buyer would leave a negative review for the order. However, in this situation it is not an issue with the order. Instead, that is a communication issue on the clients side, not the buyers. Usually, before working on an order, I list out the items that will be delivered to avoid any confusion & removing any chance of the client being unsatisfied. This helps as we can both easily see by looking at this list if what we have agreed has been delivered or not. Similar to my first point, if I could see examples of where I have left clients "unsatisfied", I would easily be able to point back to the list that I agreed with the client & clearly show that I fully met their requirements. Instead, Fiverr hide behind these "tips". I know friends who have left Fiverr for Upwork recently because of this change, & at this rate I can see myself & others following them.
  15. Hi all, I am a new seller and waiting to receive an order from a buyer/client. But getting many spam messages instead. As a new seller I have been waiting for a new proper client message but it’s been annoying to get spam messages. How long will it take for a client to approach us? Would we really get any clients for the wait? Please advice. Thank you, Nisha.
  16. Hey Fiverr Community, Recently a buyer contacted me for a project on Fiverr and sent me her\ his WhatsApp number in an attachment. I told her\ him to keep all the things on Fiverr. Then she\ he agreed & eventually, I offered two custom orders as her\ his need. She\ He replied with "Sure" but then didn't give me any message. Then I thought it might be spam so I reported her\ him and blocked. Will it affect my account? Is it right what I did? How should I avoid getting personal information from buyers? (Please provide me with the correct information & I didn't share any personal information.)
  17. I received a letter to me that the support service needed to activate my account. I followed the specified link and then realized that this is a hoax. I was asked to enter the amount that is stored on my account, and then they asked me to confirm it. In general, I talked with them and realized that it was a deception, but this is strange, why the company Fiverr will not check the people who are registered with it. In my place, there could be a more trusting person!
  18. If you already talked with a person in the inbox, you can mark them as Spam and that will block them. It also stops them from ordering too.
  19. I am stuck in a complex situation. I have a client who is requesting me to register to his site, possibly before a deal is made. I am aware that both Fiverr and Upwork have rigid, even stubborn rules when it comes to contacting someone outside of their sites and I have had a problem on Upwork. But I feel this is complicating my communication with the client. It has come to the point where it looks like I am nitpicking, when I am usually a Yes-man to my clients (provided I am not breaking rules or doing something illegal). As far as I can judge, the task needs me to go to a site and register, which seems to clash with the rules of Fiverr. The buyer also shares links that make me understand the task I have much better. But the client needs to give me information about the task, which he feels he can only give through shared links outside Fiverr and not mentioned in the list of sites that can be shared. I also want to know if there is any Fiverr accepted way to call the buyer here (send a link to this thread) and have a conversation here where this wonderful community can give both of us advice. This is much needed. And I do feel annoyed that nothing is simple these days.
  20. Hi! Glad I found this forum before I committed to someone who wants me to message him on the t.3.1.3.6.r.4.m. Received about 5 of these spam emails once I got my first gig published. New to this and am really looking forward to work with my first buyer. My wife told me about Fiverr as she once did gigs for this about 10 years ago. She said she has never had to deal with scammers in this platform before.
  21. I would like to get some answers from experienced people. Not along the "spam your gig on social media..." kind of stuff, but something really useful and weighty. I have great thumbnails, maximum number of gigs, each one has an optimized description and has a FAQ section. These gigs are in no way less than the competition in terms of gig quality or portfolio. I have experimented with different keywords, both with small competition and large ones. The last two gig I created, one of which was made in a very low-competence niche, collected 3 clicks in the whole time. This seems like a nonsense to me, because at least other beginners would be interested in looking at the gigs of their own competitors. And this strange number of 3 clicks cannot be explained in any way. Rather it seems to be a system limitation or that clicks are simply not counted by the system. So I want help from experienced people and professionals who have faced or are familiar with this problem and can give meaningful and really useful advice

  23. It's... what, 12 hours later and the one useful comment hasn't been approved here. Why is that? Isn't this forum meant to help people and act, partially, as a cheap replacement for CS while also being proof of "community" and "engagement" to wow and woo investors with? Hm? Now, why wouldn't all of the comments be approved in one go? Is there a limit? Is there some sort of hierarchy and second opinion? Did more other important tasks come up? I am interested. I suppose it is difficult - I may be entangled in a neverending web of spam.
  24. Have you ever received a message that tingled your spidey senses on Fiverr? As a seller, it can be tough to know whether a buyer is legit. Given the amount of spam and phishing attempts in our inboxes these days, I thought it wise to make a little list of things to watch out for. Many new sellers fall into the trap of responding to these messages because they're desperate for work and want to get started. 1. Request relevance: Does the request line up with your gigs or is it oddly generic, like asking for logo design, data entry, and copywriting all at once? If it sounds like a "one size fits all" message, chances are, it's spam. 2. Promises, promises: Beware of messages promising huge payouts or an overwhelming amount of work. Remember, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. 3. Off-site contact: Alarm bells should ring if a buyer is asking to take things off Fiverr, pay after completion, or even worse, asking for bank details or to connect via Telegram, WhatsApp, etc. Not only is it likely a scam, but it also violates Fiverr's terms of service. 4. Check the profile: Does the username make sense? Is it in line with what you'd expect from that country? Do they have any reviews from other sellers? If not, it's a red flag! If they have a profile picture, does it seem real? 5. Time zones and location: Check their claimed location against their time zone. You can see the time at the top of your inbox. A buyer showing a completely different timezone than what you'd expect from their country could be a red flag. 6. Fishing for a response: If you get messages that start with just "hey" or "hy" without any other context, it's often a ploy to get you to respond, making you more likely to engage with their subsequent messages. I'll close off with some advice on how to stay safe and avoid getting scammed: Don't open or download attachments and files from people you don't trust. Never give away your personal information, like e-mail, full name, address, passwords, etc. Don't click links from people you don't trust. Notice any urgent or threatening language? Scammers often try to give you a sense of urgency, to make you not think carefully before doing anything. Check for spelling and poor grammar. If someone claims to be from a legitimate company, they'll usually be a professional if they're legit. A message full of typos can indicate you're being spammed or phished. Keep your device updated. If you download malware by accident, this helps to stop it! Finally, use your common sense (or spidey sense if you have one) If something doesn't feel right, be very careful.
