  1. I got a clarification from Fiverr explaining that all communication has to be within the strict parameters of the Fiverr site. I lost the client and I felt very lousy with myself. He seemed like a nice guy. I could easily have registered to his site and worked with him outside of Fiverr, but rules are rules. But boy do I feel I threw away a good opportunity, because Fiverr does not really reward you for its loyalty or genuine people who are stricklers to site rules. I think Fiverr needs many structural changes that accomodate unique clients and requests.
  2. Can anyone experienced here respond, please. Possibly someone from the staff. I have been sending messages to the Fiverr team and the lack of response means the staff itself is unaware about its rules. Please help.
  3. I am stuck in a complex situation. I have a client who is requesting me to register to his site, possibly before a deal is made. I am aware that both Fiverr and Upwork have rigid, even stubborn rules when it comes to contacting someone outside of their sites and I have had a problem on Upwork. But I feel this is complicating my communication with the client. It has come to the point where it looks like I am nitpicking, when I am usually a Yes-man to my clients (provided I am not breaking rules or doing something illegal). As far as I can judge, the task needs me to go to a site and register, which seems to clash with the rules of Fiverr. The buyer also shares links that make me understand the task I have much better. But the client needs to give me information about the task, which he feels he can only give through shared links outside Fiverr and not mentioned in the list of sites that can be shared. I also want to know if there is any Fiverr accepted way to call the buyer here (send a link to this thread) and have a conversation here where this wonderful community can give both of us advice. This is much needed. And I do feel annoyed that nothing is simple these days.
