  1. The forum serves as a great place for our community to connect, exchange ideas, and support each other. In recent months, one of our goals has been to enhance the platform so it can be more user-friendly and easy to navigate. We’ve recently made changes in an effort to enhance the experience, here’s what to pay attention to: Streamlined sections and boards- To make navigation smoother and foster a stronger sense of community, we minimized the sections and boards in the forum. Some were moved or renamed, while others were merged or altogether deleted. Sections such as “Welcome” and “Freelancer Resources” are examples of affected spaces. We also got rid of boards such as “Ranting Pot” and “Badge & Level Discussion”. We still encourage you, however, to share your thoughts and opinions on appropriate boards including any of the Feedback boards, My Fiverr Experience, or the Members Lounge. You can also ask questions concerning levels and badges in the Gig Advice board. Renamed sections and added clear descriptions: For the remaining sections, we have added clearer names for each. Further, each board has been given a clear description, detailing its intended use. Please review these descriptions before posting to ensure discussions take place in the appropriate spaces. With that being said, the forum now consists of four main sections: General- For updates and casual conversations with a place for news, member discussions, and sharing your wins. New members- Dedicated to newcomers from both our freelancers and buyers. This space is to be used for introductions and any initial questions. From the community- Where community members can exchange advice, share feedback and suggest improvements. From the Fiverr team- Where you’ll find educational content and helpful resources to help you enhance your results on Fiverr. Content is exclusively curated by the Fiverr team, ensuring information is up-to-date and reliable. Niche sections such as Verticals, Fiverr Select and Seller Plus remain unaffected for now. However, anticipate improvements to these communities in the near future. Overall, our goal is for the forum to be a valuable educational resource, fostering connection, networking, and, above all, a successful Fiverr experience for you.   2. Hey all, thanks for sharing your thoughts and feedback regarding this test. We’re listening closely to your feedback and want to address your questions. First, we’d like to offer more clarity about certain concerns which have been raised: This test sought to evaluate the beta version of the updated Rating & Review system, based on both freelancer and customer interest in enhanced transparency. The screenshots attached are for demonstration purposes to show what the test experience looks like for customers. To further clarify, if a customer marks ‘exceptional’ on all new form questions, the rating will be 5 stars. Customers are able to see the number of stars on the review submission step before they submit their feedback form. The algorithm is not affected by the star rating score, and therefore, changes to the rating and review system do not affect visibility in the marketplace. There are positive signals from customer behavior that shows that customers understand the new form changes. Since releasing the test, we’ve seen an increase in the form response rate attributed to the new form format, which means more feedback to help your business grow and know how to improve. It’s important to note that these changes are based on extensive feedback from and research for both freelancers and customers, and one of our clearest findings is that 5.0 star ratings decrease customer trust and conversions, while 4.9 star (and below) ratings actually increase customer trust and conversions. Second, to continue our commitment of providing more transparency, we have taken much of your valuable feedback into account and will conduct further exploration on the following topics: We are exploring alternative options of depicting the ratings within the form (emojis, stars, etc.), and will keep you updated with future updates. We will explore making the review step optional instead of required. For repeat customers, we understand that filling out the review each time becomes redundant and cumbersome. We are working on ways to expose the reasons selected for each rating, so freelancers have actionable and contextual feedback on how to improve. In conclusion, your feedback is invaluable and we will continue to implement changes as best as possible based on your suggestions. Our goal is a smooth and gradual transition to future changes, and rest assured we will update in a new post in the forum as soon as we have more information.

In case you missed it, here’s what we discussed. There are two ways to submit a brief. If a seller catches your eye, send them a brief directly. If you are overwhelmed with options, you can use the 'Post a Request' feature to let sellers come to you. Whichever route you choose, you’ll want to make sure your brief is highly detailed, explaining your project’s goals, requirements, and expectations clearly. When making your initial statement, be specific and state exactly what you expect to receive as the final product or service. In the description area, provide comprehensive details, including all relevant information that pertains to your project goals. Don’t be afraid to ask questions, communication builds relationships. When you ask multiple questions, it can help identify sellers genuinely interested in the project rather than simply completing another faceless project. Once you are done writing your project description, consider providing samples if applicable. Visual aids or examples can help convey your expectations more clearly. Next, you will need to select an appropriate category for your brief. Placing your brief under the best category doesn’t just help you narrow down the search, it also helps the right Seller find you. You will also have the option to include specific additional details that might enhance your order a little further. The final step in submitting the perfect brief is to set a realistic budget and timeline. Keep in mind that quality work often comes at a reasonable price so be prepared to pay for expertise. If you have a certain timeline or deadline for your project, mention it so you can ensure feasibility and allow the freelancer ample time to deliver quality work.   22. Grammarly has announced it they will be shutting down the Text Editor SDK. Consequently, Grammarly will no longer be available for use in your inbox starting December 12, 2023. However, you may still use Grammarly privately if you'd like. We are currently working to find more ways to improve your experience on Fiverr and will keep you updated on any changes.
