  1. That will be kind of a joke when it comes to Customer Support. Because they always issue refunds for the buyer when needed. It doesn’t matter what sellers did. because the CS always worry about money back guarantee. That has not been my experience. I would send a notice to customer support that I do not want to give refunds for any reason unless I make a serious mistake or do not deliver. I’ve done that and customer support has agreed. That is my experience, yours might be different.
  2. I would tell them what the gig description says they will get and then do it the best that I can. And deiver it. I wouldn’t let them think they can get away with asking for something I don’t offer nor would they get a refund. I would say they will get what the gig offers and then give them that. I would copy the gig description and send it to them and tell them to read it and tell them I will be sending what the gig offers.
  3. My goal is the same every year: earn more than I did the year before.
  4. As a seller who never has a cancellation that’s my fault I think buyers should not be able to cancel an order for any reason aside from non-delivery. Otherwise they need to know that when they place an order that they won’t be getting any refund.
  5. I think that this might discourage more buyers from cancelling as much, if buyers know that they still have to pay something even if they cancel. It might be part of why they have this.
  6. I doubt if fiverr will ever have an accept or decline feature since the whole purpose of the site is that someone can simply pay and start an order.
  7. You could offer a free extra to make up for it. Put on your thinking cap to think of some way to compensate with something nice to add to the order for free. Is there some way to show the buyer all the stock images available to see if there is one they might prefer to have?
  8. As others have said, you can complain about a buyer but if you do in this case it might lead to a ban on your account. You are not supposed to ask for a tip in exchange for work. You could have sent the buyer a custom offer for the additional work. Don’t agree to take payment in a tip.
  9. Don’t start trying to do this full time without doing it part time first to see if you can survive with what you earn here. I’m sure you would find an owner eventually. You forgot something: prepare to feel like a pinata at a children’s birthday party.
  10. Tell customer support what happened and what you need to send those links for and ask how you can do it so it is within the rules.
  11. Something like that should be sent in a text message on the order page probably. That way it’s all out in the open assuming it is needed for your job. You should ask customer support how to do this so you won’t get in trouble.
  12. For me it’s a fun addictive hobby. I don’t see what I do as a job because I enjoy it too much to call it that.
  13. They can’t allow us to change what we say in chat. That would lead to things like people exchanging personal information, threatening or other things that are not allowed and being able to later erase them.
  14. Oh I see! There should be a way but I’m not aware of any.
  15. Of course. Just delete the typo and retype it.
  16. @paulmaplesden Is that a type of breed? If it is we don’t have that one here.
  17. The thing is, Kaya isn’t even the pretty one - that honor goes to Juna (on the right)… image.jpg605×661 116 KBThis photo shows Kaya in her more natural, “derpy” phase. Those are the cutest dogs! Love their ears and brindle coats.
  18. But it is close IMO There is a family resemblance in that picture.
  19. I really like the PDF feature in the gallery. I wish more sellers used it.
  20. If what you got was different from what the seller said you would get in his gig you deserve a refund. I don’t know why you have been unable to get in touch with customer support about this. Not that long. It may take a year or two of regular stand up comedy to get a feel for the jokes and how to deliver them. The material is something you can either write yourself, if you have the ability, or hire someone to write for you. Talent is the main thing that you either have or not. You probably already know if people think you are basically funny or not. Practice in front of audiences as much as possible is the main thing. A corporate audience sounds like a difficult crowd.
  21. You took a gamble when you got it. Like I said, why would anyone successful as a comedian be selling advise here for $15? Comedians make a lot of money, millions. btw, where are the gigs? I did a search on “comedy advise” and don’t see any gigs:
  22. So you mean he said not to use dirty jokes? That’s it? That’s not even really good advise; it depends on the venue. A comedian who is successful wouldn’t be selling advise on fiverr.
