  1. Live portfolio means that the buyer can choose to include a sample of your work in their review or not when the order finishes. It is up to the buyer to decide. It's already on, so there's nothing else you need to do - when you complete an order, the buyer can post the work sample if they choose to. Edit - Just checked your page and indeed, your live portfolio is working. When I click on your gig with 30 reviews, lots of examples of your work for clients comes up. I'm not sure why you thought it wasn't working haha In some categories, like Graphics & Design, Live Portfolio can't be disabled. It looks like yours is set to on by defeault.
  2. Buyer requests are not buyers approaching you. They are buyers who post an ad on Fiverr for a request that they need. It's like if someone was to post "help wanted" in a newspaper. It is not personalised to you at all. However, Fiverr will show you requests that match your gig category. This ignores gender, language, etc.
  3. Hey, I'm really stressed right now. A buyer messaged me asking for a NSFW recording, to which i politely declined multiple times, sending him the terms and conditions which show this is prohibited. He kept trying to tell me it was fine and people have done it for him before, even sending me screenshots of fiverr sellers who have done the recording for him (nothing explicit, it was fetish material, but still, this felt like a huge privacy violation to them, since they didn't have his consent to share that). I eventually blocked him because it made me so uncomfortable and stressed, since I've dealt with people like that before in real life who just refuse to take no for an answer, and it's honestly very triggering for me to go through. He then made a second account to continue to message me and threatened to make a website to post my name and say I'm rude and nasty (because I blocked him). I know in the grand scheme of things this probably isn't a big deal but I have quite bad anxiety and this situation has just really stressed me out. 😞 I've sent a message to customer service about it so they hopefully don't let him message me from other accounts he might make... Maybe I made it worse by reaching out to CS and the harassment will just continue... I guess I just wanted to get this off my chest and have some reassurance that I made the right choice
  4. If it's your only review, might be tricky to work past that, but if you have other good reviews as well you'll be just fine. Learn from your mistakes in how you handled that order, and grow from it to provide a better service and buyer experience in future. 🙂
  5. Contact customer service with this info - they should be able to help you regain access to your old account. 🙂
  6. I believe fiverr used to say that a gig video was 30% or 40% more likely to get clicked, so I've always gone for a video for my main gig at least. It does make sense, in my opinion - you can convey much, much more information in a 60 second video than you can in a still image. It conveys your work, yourself a little bit, your level of professionalism, and getting a glimpse into your personality can help people to trust you. I think a great gig video can be a huge asset and help you to stand out too.
  7. There are lots of threads about how to get orders. https://community.fiverr.com/search/?q=how to get order&quick=1 Please check the forum before cluttering it with questions that are already asked repeatedly, daily. 🙂
  8. Why do you ask that? Did they say that would? If you're just asking randomly and fiverr haven't indicated anything about it, I would guess no? We're all just people who sell on fiverr, just like you - so we only know what you know in terms of anything fiverr is or is not planning to do.
  9. I have turned off my gigs (paused them) and set my queue limit to 0, so that people can't place orders. I have only done this for a maximum of 5 days but it didn't harm my ranking or sales when I came back and allowed me to take a small break. Perhaps instead of turning everything off, you could limit your orders to just 1, and increase your delivery time. That way, you can continue to maintain your profile a little bit and not lose any progress. Otherwise, a month is a long time to not get any orders, since your stats reset every 60 days, so nothing for 30 days could lower all your stats.
  10. I would just mention in your bio and descriptions that you're back after a break, this would help to avoid any confusion. Perhaps lower your prices for a special "coming back to fiverr" offer to reinforce this and incentivise getting some initial sales in. I'm not sure if you're allowed to delete and remake a profile, as you're only allowed one single fiverr account, so if you do go that route make sure to check with Fiverr Customer Support first to ensure you don't get banned
  11. I've also fallen victim to a chargeback scam in the past, so would be interested to hear about this. On the forum I know it's not allowed, but if it's outside of the site, the person no longer has a fiverr account, and you don't mention fiverr (say, "a freelance site") instead, I really don't see how it could cause issues. That said, I'd need to take another look through the T&Cs to be sure.
  12. Customer Service confirmed Donnovan's answer: I had no idea. I always thought that pausing the gigs meant people couldn't place orders! However, the direct link was already turned off for all gigs - what I had to do was in fact change the order queue limit to 0.
  13. Yeah, no custom offer is what I actually meant - and I checked the order time and "requirements submitted time" and both were 5 hours after I turned off my gigs! Really strange. I'll send an update when I hear more, but I guess it is possible that a buyer just left the order page open for 5 hours before finishing the order 😂
  14. Hey there. I paused all my gigs a few hours ago, since I'm going away for the weekend. However, I've just received an order. I double checked and all my gigs are definitely paused, and I had no previous orders with this buyer, and hadn't sent him a buyer request. Needless to say, I'm quite confused. Any ideas what could have caused this/has anyone else experienced this? If this keeps happening, I'll end up having late orders as I won't be able to complete the work while I'm away. I've messaged customer service but just wanted to know if anyone else had seen this before
  15. Yes, you're absolutely allowed to have a diverse selection of gigs on FIverr, and you are allowed to work as a company too. Fiverr Business might be a good choice for you: https://www.fiverr.com/support/articles/360010395297-Creating-your-Fiverr-Business-Account?segment=business
  16. Each time you make a gig it goes into manual review which can take a couple of weeks to actually be approved and go in the search results. Continuously deleting a gig and remaking it means you can never grow the impressions and clicks etc on your gig, and can't collect feedback over the long term, it also means people who may have saved your gig for later can't find it again, and you aren't giving it the time to grow. It can take months to grow a gig from 0 to eventually getting feedback, and improving your seller level and general reputation on the site. If you keep deleting a gig, you will never be able to get there. If you need to make changes you can just edit it without deleting it. There is no benefit to repeatedly deleting and remaking a gig.
  17. When you get a fiverr's choice badge, your gig is being promoted much more than normal for a short time. It is a very short term, temporary boost - it isn't permanent, and it's normal for the level to drop back down after you lose the badge. Whenever you change your profile (in my experience), it takes about 2 weeks to come back in the search results, or to come back to a normal level of impressions etc. If you are getting 30-40 impressions, it means your gig IS still being seen, which is good. It isn't being blocked and it is available in the search results. On top of this, all gigs are continuously rotated in the algorithm. EVERYONE spends some weeks on the last page of search results, and some weeks near the beginning. This constantly changes and is done on purpose to give everyone a chance. To me, it seems like between the shock of no longer having the fiverr's choice boost, and then making changes to your gig which takes you out of the search results, plus spending some time on the last pages due to the automatic search result rotation - this would explain your concerns about your gig performance. Some options include: Make more gigs based on the market research of what is popular, making sure prices and quality of work are competitive. Improve current gigs with more attractive gig videos/images, better SEO, better pricing based on competitor research. Note that there will be a 2 week cool-off period (approximately) while the gigs are manually reviewed Get 1 month of seller plus and get advice from a personal success manager. It's not fiverr support's job to help you improve your gig - they are there for technical issues or problems with buyer interactions or bugs etc. Your success manager's job however, IS To improve your gig and get you more orders etc.
  18. Create a gig based on your skills and what you know you can do well. Highlight your skills. Research your target audience. Are you primarily there to help businesses, or individuals? Market yourself based on who you want to attract. Do market research and search for data entry gigs on fiverr to see what the competition is doing and how to stay in line with the expected standards of work. Include good SEO and high quality gig images that look professional. Price yourself lower than average in the beginning in order to attract clients and get some feedback before increasing your prices. Include attractive options like fast delivery time, and include some revisions (NEVER unlimited though. Limit free revisions to a specific number - even if it is a high number like 5-10, do not offer unlimited). Make sure to proofread your gig - using bad spelling and grammar is off-putting and can make you seem less professional, and like you may not understand a client's needs. Avoid using "sir" and "ma'am" or other terms (I have been called "dear", "honey" etc - this is not appropriate at all). It is best to just refer to people by their name or nothing at all. Instead of "Dear sir", just "hello" is much better.
  19. Some New Sellers don't get access to many buyer requests. Once you get more feedback and level up you will see more. As a new seller I didn't see any for a long time. It might depend on your category or service.
  20. Some people think so! I personally don't - but I do think the seller plus agents or whatever they're called probably know a little bit more about what the powers that be are actually looking for when they choose someone for TRS. Whether that be to do with pricing, branding, the kind of jobs you accept etc, I have no idea - but hopefully will find out when I have my meeting next Wednesday. 🙂 It's possible that people paying for seller plus get special treatment, but I have no official information regarding that, and I think the feature is too new for users to have figured that out in an unofficial capacity (it's only been around for a year or so iirc, whereas fiverr has been around since 2010). Time will tell, I think.
  21. Probably because this isn't a popular service in comparison to your other gigs. Your gig image could be better, though that would be more of a click-rate solution than an impression solution. Also, each time you make changes to your gigs, they can be removed from the search results for a while for manual review, so if you're changing things like SEO, you would need to wait at least a week or two to see any positive effects. My impressions and clicks etc always take a hit for 1-2 weeks after making gig changes, and then they go back to normal or better
  22. Is the order delivered, or completed? If it's just delivered, you will need to wait until the buyer accepts, or for 3 days to pass with no revision request (whichever comes first). If it is completed, I'd guess it just takes some time to update. Check back in 24 hours.
  23. I've also heard the rumour that average selling price is a "secret" factor in who gets chosen for TRS, but I have no idea what that would look like. By all official criteria I've been eligible for 2 years, and my average sale price is currently just over $30 for orders, just over $50 for customs, and I personally still haven't been nominated. I've decided to give seller plus a go, to see if I can learn more about what I'd need to do to become a better candidate. If this is a factor, and you want to figure out the price, I would say take a look at the top sellers in whatever your niche is and figure out their average gig price.
  24. is the manual process take time ? Yes. It can take years, and some people are never chosen. I've been eligible for TRS for a couple of years now and haven't been chosen for it. Not everyone gets it. Level 2 is the last level everyone is "guaranteed" to be able to reach as long as the conditions are met. Top rated is for specially selected sellers only.
  25. "In order to find my gig, I have to type the exact name of my gig in and it's about 10 pages deep." This may be true for you, but not others. I've received a bunch of orders from new clients at a time where I couldn't find my gig either. The search results you find when you search your gig aren't indicative of everyone else's search results. The feature hasn't been removed, if it had, Fiverr would quickly lose business as no new sellers would be able to make any sales. If people aren't seeing your gig, it might just not have been boosted yet because fiverr is still doing some manual reviews to make sure everything is up to scratch. Also make sure your gig title, images, SEO keywords etc have all been set up correctly, and you don't have anything that could be flagged in your gig descriptions etc. If you have something that could be (without context) taken offensively in any way, it could be causing issues with your gig being displayed.
