What is gig rank?

That's an interesting observation. I've read somewhere on this forum that tinkering with your gig's description, tags, etc. does not derank a gig per se. So I'm wondering if it's a myth or not 🤔?

Does anyone have any alternative source for marketing your gigs besides social media? Thanks!

Just flag it 🚩! I used to respond to spam messages in fear of losing my high response time. That was probably a waste of time!

Hello @roschak_gd! I'm in the same boat: I cannot change the main category because it's greyed out, but also don't want to delete gigs with good reviews 😅

@strategist_ceo It's not a totally irrational fear. But having a family is not a guarantee you won't end up all alone later in life. Remember that there are things such as friend groups, "alternative" families, material and societal security nets of various kinds, etc. Could it actually be the fear of being alone/abandoned? I know, right, I was away from Fiverr for a couple of years too, and it feels like a completely different site now! 😁 Yeah, buyer requests are gone, but there are briefs now - though I haven't gotten any feedback for this feature yet. I don't remember having much luck with buyer requests back in the day either, so let's hope to get into the algorithm's good graces again and make a successful comeback on Fiverr! ☺️

Or I may be overthinking it and should just give my gigs more time to be found by the right buyer 😄

Hey @vickieito, thank you for asking 😁I offer prewritten lead magnets on various topics (copy + design + email sequence), so I feel that any subcategory in Graphic and Design wouldn't really fit - these are populated with gigs from graphic design artists, and I'm more of an all-round digital marketer. Lead (i.e. optin) magnets may fit in the Email marketing category and Digital marketing category too, but again - not perfectly. I feel like the right category/subcategory for my gigs doesn't exist on Fiverr at this moment. 🤔

Can you prove that you're the one holding the copyright? If you can, I'm sure that Fiverr will reinstate your account!

Thanks @vickieito! 🙂 Yeah, that makes sense (for Fiverr). Though I'm still not sure what the right category for my gigs would be, what would be the right "fit" audience-wise. That's why I've tried to figure out if some related categories may bring more impressions and clicks. Now, to delete the old gigs or not, that is a question... 😓

Hello everyone, I have a quick question: Editing my gigs, whenever I try to change the gig category, the main category seems to be greyed out (uneditable). I don't remember encountering this problem before🤔Is this some new behavior (I was admittedly away from Fiverr for a couple of years), or maybe a bug? Is there a workaround? Thanks, Stay safe, AB
