  1. On the seller side, even mentioning the word review or other words that mean review makes the box containing the message get a red outline and a warning pops up. Since Fiverr reminds the buyer not once, but twice to leave a review, I feel that it is rude to ask for a review for a third time. Plus I do not want CS to somehow discover I asked for a review and thus get a warning.
  2. Be careful never to ask for a review. This what I found out after talking to CS.
  3. But only if you are competent in providing the services those different categories require. If you can not do the work well, it will eventually lead to issues with your buyers.
  4. You posted your question in “Tips for Sellers.” That category is for experienced sellers to share their tips with other sellers. To stop your post from getting :black_flag:ed or removed, I have moved it to the proper category.
  5. We get invited to my middle son’s company party. It is a small close knit group. They always have the same chef and we have lots of fun.
  6. Thanks for the ideas! I am kind of musical artist challenged. But I just got myself an early gift of an Amazon Alexa, and it is so nice to merely be able to tell her to play what I want to hear. Now, I have a list of what to try. I was a teen when they began. I like the 50’s and 60’s classics.
  7. Right now I am into Christmas Music. The old time tunes like White Christmas, Frosty the Snowman and so on.
  8. I did not even know that country existed! Most of my orders are from there too–65%. I have 3 from there. My World domination is 29%.
  9. Yes, there are real clients here. However, it took me 45 days to get my first order. That was 2.5 years ago. I did not get much spam then.
  10. The only thing to do is to be patient. Wait for the ebb to be over and for the flow to begin. When it is a slow time, I make a new gig or improve my profile and gigs that are not doing as well as the others. I also enjoy my time off by doing things I enjoy.
  11. It is the way fiverr works. There is an ebb and flow for everyone, even TRS and Pros.
  12. @sameernegi you will have better luck making a post about your issue instead of commenting on a post that is two months old.
  13. Fiverr chose to enforce this fee because many naughty sellers and buyers 😈 Fiverr now charges fees for tips.
  14. Yes, that is another trick these scam sellers 😈 paperclip instead of through the order via the green Deliver Now button!
  15. In the over two years since I have been here, I have never had a buyer say they had an issue with their payment. @coerdelion is correct. This type of buyer is trying to take advantage of you. They will offer to pay you some other way, which would be breaking Fiverr TOS and then you could lose your account. Fiverr wants to make 💰. Therefore, Fiverr is going to work hard to make sure a real buyer’s payment method works. Besides I would not want to work with anyone who has payment issues.
  16. Sometimes it takes a day or two to go into effect.
  17. Come back to tell us what you chose to do and what happened as a result. That is how we all learn; from other sellers situations.
  18. @rizwansb, Are you suggesting he spend yet more 💸
  19. In my experience CS often sends the seller the template response of “Work it out with the buyer.” Or, they sides with the buyer. 😱 I do not go there unless there is no other option. He should wait it out to see what happens. 🙂
  20. You could redeliver the work you already sent her along with the message that you do not offer revisions. Then she may just let the order autocomplete, or she may ask, again, for a revision. Then you repeat the process until she gives up or goes to CS. However, you will more than likely get a poor review. That is not a bad thing though because you have the chance to explain that the buyer wanted a revision and you do not offer them because they cost you additional 💰 Other, than that do what @coerdelion said in case the buyer goes to CS.
  21. I do not believe it is against Fiverr’s TOS to do this. I often proofread websites for sellers who are building a website for a buyer. 🙂
  22. I have heard this advice in more than one thread.
