  1. The W-9 requirement would possibly mean the US Fiverr users would not need to validate their accounts.
  2. Yes, that is what @mjensen415 said. I just realized that this might put a stop to all of the fake US accounts!
  3. I rarely get asked for revision. However, when I do I make a revision, I deliver it and send a message that says I have provided t a complimentary revision and any further revisions will cost $5.
  4. But I do not think that means letting buyers take advantage of you. I am successful on the Fiverr platform. I have never cowed down to any buyer if I felt like they were trying to take advantage of me. Furthermore, I will not do so in the future.
  5. Did you remove the gig, that you got the 1.3 on? That does not remove the review and it means any prospective buyer cannot read your reply to his review.
  6. Be sure to say in your review of him appears on your profile that the buyer tried to get additional revisions for free. That will put off any buyer who may try to get free revisions, plus it lets them know they can not just walk all over you.
  7. No! Do not be a doormat for your buyer to walk on. That too is terrible advice. Offer a specific number of revisions and charge for any additional ones. I do not even mention that I offer revisions. Why remind them that it is an option? I may give a buyer one or two small revisions but charge for anymore. It may seem like a good idea to offer unlimited revisions, but we have seen on the Forum that buyers have come back months later, and when the seller complains to CS, they will back the buyer. Unlimited means without end. It is up to you to put a limit on your revisions if you do not want to deal with buyers coming back once the order is complete. Another option is to say unlimited revision while the order is active. Once it is closed by the seller or auto-completes in 3 day you are done.
  8. How close together were your requests? Sometimes sending too many especially if they are in a short time will cause your whole request to be ignored as spam.
  9. Sellers do not get paid until 14 days after the order closes, plus the seller may have to wait three days for the order to auto-close. So, if a buyer does not close an order, the seller must wait a minimum of 17 days to get paid. I cannot imagine having to wait for longer than that,
  10. Fiverr has changed a lot since I’ve joined. Maybe they want to limit the number of sellers. I wonder if someday we’ll have to pay $5 a month just to be on Fiverr. That may mean many sellers with few or no orders would delete their accounts.
  11. I passed the test then I could post my gig. If you do not pass the test you cannot go any further in creating your gig because your skills have not been verified and therefore Fiverr will not let you have a gig for those services.
  12. I never had to take it for the letter-writing or proofreading gigs I had before I made the new proofreading gig even if I paused and unpaused them. Ten of course!
  13. I had to take the English test before I could publish my latest proofreading gig.
  14. This is from two years ago. I wonder if they are still stuck at 80%
  15. After asking around, I found that some no level sellers do not see Buyer Requests. I am not sure why that is, but I suspect it does have something to do with the number of gigs in the category in which the new seller has created their gigs. For instance, WordPress hs 59,074 sellers and 44,206 of them are new. In my category which is proofreading, there are 10,245 gigs and 8,080 are new. This is only my speculation as to why not all no level sellers see Buyer Requests. Only Fiverr knows the real reason.
  16. Hello, @ninoslav91, my name is Vickie. It is good to meet you. 👋 Let me tell you of my experience with Buyer Requests as a Level 0 seller. I began on Fiverr in July of 2017. All of my first gigs were booked because of Buyer Requests. If I had not used Buyer Requests, then it would have been very challenging for me to become Level 1 and then a Level 2 seller on Fiverr.
  17. That is not true. 😉 No level sellers can see Buyer Requests. However, they do not see as many. Also, Fiverr only allows 1️⃣ sellers from each level to make offers on each Buyer Request. Since so many no level sellers need Buyer Request when they first start selling on Fiverr the BR’s disappear very fast because of the competition.
  18. Here is a screenshot of where to find the “More” tab. If you cannot see it adjust the zoom on your browser. image819×83 4.26 KB
  19. My solution was not to have any of my other notification sounds be the same as the Fiverr notification sound. I have an iPhone.
  20. I do not have any $5 gigs, and I am sure my sales are nowhere your sales, @misscrystal. However, when I am selling more gigs my conversion rate is indeed higher, up to 42%, but when I am not selling many gigs it can go as low as 9%. This is why I said the conversion rate is more important than impressions because mine is higher when I sell more gigs.
  21. Impressions are not important. The conversion rate is important!
  22. Yes, we have had people here complaining that Fiverr would not let them set up a profile because of the country they lived in.
  23. It has been that way for about two years now and I have seen a marked decline in my tips since then.
  24. My top five are: USA - 65% Germany and Russia Ukaraine Indonesia UK
  25. On the seller side, even mentioning the word review or other words that mean review makes the box containing the message get a red outline and a warning pops up. Since Fiverr reminds the buyer not once, but twice to leave a review, I feel that it is rude to ask for a review for a third time. Plus I do not want CS to somehow discover I asked for a review and thus get a warning.
