Agreed but it won't happen and we know that. The chances of Fiverr removing those private reviews are minimal. I am sure many buyers had complaints that they don't have time to review. And obviously Fiverr cares about customer satisfaction. We will see but as I said, I don't think they will revert their approach towards reviews. If anything, with the cancellation reviews they are doubling down on reviews..

It's your opinion and I respect it. I think the current brief system is infinitely better. And few people would agree to pay for a request that someone might never fulfill. They want to offer buyers enough time to check and ask for a revision. Some buyers review the order without checking and by the time they get through the work they can't ask for a revision, or even a refund. There is Seller Plus for a faster withdrawal process if you want it, and since they charge for that, I don't see them making faster (free) withdrawals a priority of any kind. It would diminish the appeal of Seller Plus, in my opinion.

Buyer requests was a cesspool filled with people that took advantage of sellers, so I am glad it's gone There is a system, it's called Seller Plus, but it does come with a fee attached to it. Private reviews will certainly not go anywhere, it's a way for Fiverr to acquire unfiltered opinions from buyers. If anything, the fact Fiverr wants to to have reviews for canceled orders shows they want more transparency from buyers and sellers. I don't think these private reviews will ever go away here. I am pretty sure they made some improvements to promoted gigs tho.

Cool, I like Hitman too, but due to my action game and RPG background, I tend to be way too trigger happy and focus less on Stealth. Still love the game, especially the roguelike aspect they added with one of their latest patches.

Hi again @levinewman. I was full of work today, hence the lack of an immediate reply. I would have a few ideas to pitch as well: 1. Fiverr needs to allow sellers a way to stop/start gig multiples and also choose a limit of how much work you want to do. For example, in the writing niche you can easily add 20000 words in the word count window and Fiverr would add the same deadline as that gig package, which is unreasonable. Having a way to limit these gig multiples and how much work we can provide would help a lot. That's why I am always the advocate of this idea to lock gig packages and not allow buyers to manipulate word counts that automatically have a very short deadline. Obviously I don't expect Fiverr to lock gig packages platform-wide, but I do expect to offer sellers a way to lock gig packages, if I want to only work on 500 words for example, I don't want to have buyers ordering more than that. So yes, a way to lock gig packages if we want to (when we want to) would help a whole lot. - This COULD be a Seller Plus feature. 2. Show the Buyer Satisfaction Rate we currently have. That could be in the form of a graph showing how it increases or decreases over the 90/180 days it's tracked or even just a number from 0 to 100. That way we understand whether we have to work on the buyer satisfaction rate, where it is for the time being and so on. For example, I am a part of Seller Plus, but I don't want to bother my seller manager all the time with emails requesting an update on my current BSR score. Having that as a part of Seller Plus would help, since we can see the score for ourselves, while also maintaining the privacy of our clients. I didn't have any bad reviews for many months now, and I have no idea what is happening. Needless to say, I don't want to email my success manager every week for an update, I value people's time and I don't want to be annoying. So I think this is a must-have feature, and one that people don't cover often. These first two I see as a very good addition to the platform, and they could be a Seller Plus feature. 3. A way to see gig extras even before buying, right now as far as I know buyers can't see any gig extras until they initiate their purchase. So a way to see gig extras before purchasing might go a long way for a lot of sellers. 4. I know this is a long shot, but offering 4 or 5 gig packages (if we want to) can be a great idea too. In many niches, even writing, it makes sense to have more than 3 packages. So this would be a great addition, and obviously it would be something optional for everyone, just like it was with either 1 or 3 packages at first. 5. There is an issue where even if you have 3 revisions like I do, people can ask for more revisions after that. So it doesn't matter how many revisions you set, Fiverr will still offer unlimited revisions to the buyer. That can lead to problems for a lot of sellers. I am not as affected as other people here, but I still think it's a great idea to focus on. 6. Offering a way to bundle multiple services in an offer might also be a welcome addition.

Promote your gigs. Also try to create new gigs that offer something unseen on the platform. If you have the same gigs like everyone else, the chances of standing out are minimal..

They will give more exposure to Pro sellers and also show there are a lot of options in the Pro field. Now in the case of writing, you don't have way too many pages with Pro writers, but if they accept more writers, slowly that will become the norm. And that's the thing, they want to show Fiverr is a place where Pro level sellers are, while still allowing access to less expensive options. Fiverr also makes more money from a Pro sale when compared to a regular one, so there's also that.

In Articles and Blog Posts it has been like that for a while. Similar, I should say. They have a few level 1 and level 2 sellers at the top of search, then the next 40-60 people are just Pro. So yeah, PRO sellers are getting a lot of visibility, not sure what they will do with this new change, since Pro sellers already receive a LOT of traffic at least in my category anyway. But who knows. We have to wait and see.

Anywhere from 1 to 3 or even 6 months. It depends on how many positive reviews (private) you have, but my success manager said it will take quite a bit of time to recover.

Buyers can choose what they show. I can tell you for a fact that some buyers specifically hide stuff, I saw that while they got in touch.

Fiverr set $80 minimum for that category because a lot of people tried to undercut the market and they delivered low quality work. A lot of buyers complained and that's why Fiverr decided to have a $80 barrier. To be honest, I am not sure why they only kept it for that category, other categories need an entry price, obviously not $80, but certainly not $5.

Well how is he a buyer? Are you bringing him from an offline source to Fiverr? Ideally, you don't want to be the one that gets paid for inviting a person only for them to order from you. I think it might raise suspicions if Fiverr sees this, since they might see it as review manipulation. It's better if you just tell them to register on Fiverr, rather than you sharing a referral link. But as always, it's just an opinion, you get to choose what to do. I wouldn't do that myself.

It's a modernization and I am fine with that. Will it affect my Fiverr experience? Not exactly. It does look cleaner, but it's more of a small update rather than a huge upgrade. And it's fine, because the Inbox works well, it does its purpose.

Your recent clients might have left a bad private review, hence the reason why you are not getting as many impressions.

AI writing is pretty bad, especially when it comes to research. But some prefer to just use that and repair the content using their own research. Others just prefer to hire people.

Vickie, if Fiverr doesn't automatically make you a Pro, then they are doing something wrong. You have wayyyy less bad reviews than many Pro sellers, great business acumen and not to mention you've been on Fiverr for a long time. That's the definition of Pro in my books.

Levi, there are legitimate sellers that post on the forum often which also do a lot of work. I would like to say I am one of those people that don't just write stuff here and waste time. I learned a lot of things, I am also trying to share my knowledge, and I also have quite a lot of sales under my belt as well. But I am sure this was not targeting people like me, Vickie and others, so I will take a step back from the conversation. Congrats on the Pro badge!

Even the email with cancellation reviews arrived 2 days later than others for me. It will arrive if you're a Pro seller, although it should be a send it to all type of thing since it's not personalized as far as I can see.

Glad to see you back, Frank. As far as we can see, they are bringing more sellers to Pro, but that email Mike shared says something about getting more traffic. So at least to me, that suggests they will either offer more exposure to the Pro platform, or there are some visual changes to the platform that make it easier to enter the Pro section. They could also add only Pro gigs at the beginning of each search, to encourage everyone to browse those first, and the less expensive gigs would be under them (a disaster if that's the case). We will have to wait and see. I don't understand why they would send an email without any details...

It depends on the niche. I can't see them adding standardized pricing for writers, but for programming it made sense. We will see what they add.

Honestly, this to me screems Top Rated Seller being automatically transformed into Pro, so those Pro sellers can easily lower prices if they want and thus generate more impressions and traffic. But again, we will see. Didn't check his gig yet but if there are issues, that's worrying.
