  1. I didn’t. But considering how much work overload they have, I don’t feel like waiting a week for a reply.
  2. If you’re asking me, the buyer reviewed his order and in 15 days (yesterday) my gig was canceled and the amount was removed from my wallet.
  3. Same thing happened to me, got the order canceled by customer support randomly. No message, no nothing
  4. Social media shares are most likely not going to bring you any sales. So YOU are one of the reasons why I see random Fiverr gigs on Quora? It just makes the user experience worse, and people see them as spam.
  5. Only Fiverr customer support can help. We are sellers just like you. The verification process is very simple…not sure what was misunderstood but as I said, they can help, we can’t.
  6. I don’t understand how they are selecting people for this program. It feels random, they are choosing people with higher prices it seems, because seller seniority, sales volume and other stuff like that doesn’t seem to be a factor. I am still not a part of the system for some reason.
  7. Would you say it’s worth it? Based on your experience, seems a waste of money especially if we have lower price gigs.
  8. Well, a lot of people here just create a gig and forget about the website because they don’t get orders. They don’t promote themselves or just expect Fiverr to deliver orders. It might help sometimes, but the truth is that you can’t expect Fiverr to hand you orders. You need to do something for those orders yourself. So yes, installing the app, promoting yourself and so on, these are pivotal things to consider.
  9. If you’re a serious seller, adding the app on your mobile phone is a must-have.
  10. If you’re out of office, you can stop your gigs. Or you can have your phone nearby and reply once a day to messages. No one is forcing people to work on Fiverr, nor are they forced to communicate with anyone. But if you want to offer services here and reach success, you should at least reply once per day. I understand not everyone is a Fiverr full timer, but since you can reply at any time within 24 hours, even if you open up your inbox once per day you will be fine.
  11. The funny thing is that some people like me with thousands of reviews on the platform still don’t have the option to use ads, but they were fully removed from search and pushed in the back…
  12. It might go back to where it was though. Or you just had a lot of luck.
  13. It’s not available for every level 2 seller Pretty sure it won’t be for everyone. The main idea is to not have an overload of gigs without reviews. They are only offering the opportunity for vetted people, to keep things under control
  14. I don’t see how it’s a bonus when my views have plummeted and got lower every day since the program has launched. It seems to become a necessity. I am curious if other level 2 and top rated sellers have less views and no messages from new customers. It’s definitely happening to me.
  15. My most popular gig is currently not on the first page of search results, but it does not qualify for this program, since it isn’t within a category currently open to ads. I do have a logo design gig that qualifies, but I do not yet have access to the ads platform. Where a seller’s gigs are, right now, clearly does not relate to the potential for a seller within the ads program. As you know, gigs rotate around regularly. I do not believe Fiverr is intentionally doing anything to force sellers to participate in the program. Maybe not. However, since the day the program was released I didn’t receive any message from any new customer. Usually I get at least 2-3 per day. So… that’s strange since this is the third day. For now I have repeat orders to go through, so I am not worrying, but I am seeing a few bad changes at least in my situation.
  16. For me they are both useless since I won’t use them, but I understand how some would need instant withdrawal. I wouldn’t say promoted gigs were needed, but I am sure some people would use them.
  17. I am a TRS and for the past two weeks new buyer inquiries have dropped to almost zero. Thank goodness for my regular buyers otherwise I would be in trouble. Yes it’s forced me to look at ads. I am seeing some sellers that have 2-3 spots on the first page. How can this be right? Some sellers have vanished from the first 3-4 pages. I also checked my email and junk files there are no invites as yet. New business for me has almost dropped completely. I noticed all gigs from my account are removed, not just my main one. You can find it only if you search for local customers, from my country. They rotated me once to the first page the past month for 3-4 days. Then I went back and inquiries, views, clicks, all dropped.
  18. I don’t believe this is true, because sellers from categories that aren’t even part of the ads program have been complaining about gig placement. Fiverr is/was not intentionally sending seller gigs to the back of the search results, just to force them to pay more to be seen. Why would Fiverr, as you claim, send sellers to the back of the search results who don’t even qualify for the promoted gigs program? Well I am at the bottom, my entire account, all my gigs are at the bottom. And I qualify for the program. Not saying it’s intentional or anything, but it’s certain some popular gigs are at the bottom and they are obviously encouraged to pay for exposure since they are not getting new messages or customers.
  19. Isn’t that against the rules?
  20. Level 2 or top rated. But it’s not available for everyone. I am level 2, have high ratings and I don’t see the option. But as I said above, it’s very easy for others to abuse it, and for my price points it’s just not worth it
  21. I don’t have this feature either, and all my gigs are over 4.8 stars, level 2… etc… And even if I had it, I wouldn’t use it. I believe this feature can be abused quite a lot. Competitors can easily click on your gig and make you pay for basically nothing. Also, it mostly caters to the more expensive gigs I believe, I see no benefit in promoting a $5 gig, I might spend close to that on ads to get a sale, so basically I will work for free…
  22. Well this only makes sense for people that have a pricey gig. If you just have $5 gigs, then you will spend more than what you’re making…
  23. I never give a 1-star review, however I had to do so today Had to give one today after dealing with a person that asked for a much faster delivery and a lot of extra work via revisions. I assumed they would do the same, and yes, they lied about me taking a month, saying they tipped me and so on. So yes, there are some buyers that lie or try to cheat the system to get more work. In that case, you need to give such a review.
  24. Once again, I had people that ended up placing huge orders and I have to cancel them or they pressure me to deliver. We really need to get a hold of Fiverr, this is getting out of hand and we need to do something, we must have a way to turn this feature on/off quickly. It hurts us and the buyer experience, and it’s been suggested for years now…
  25. I agree with @cyaxrex. Why refund in the first place? Also, partial refunds are a bad idea. This opens up the door to a TON of abuse, some buyers will try to get some of the money back, threatening sellers with bad reviews. Also, I am not sure Fiverr would quantify partial cancellations and how would that impact seller levels. It’s just a ton of work for a feature that’s most likely going to be abused by a lot of people. The system is fine the way it is. Refuse cancellations or offer them and deal with the penalty 🙂
