  1. I understand your frustrations and I know that support can be a bit mediocre, to put it mildly. Unfortunately, there's not much else we can tell you here on the forum.
  2. This could be a good read to get you started: The success score, explained (fiverr.com)
  3. I ran your gig description through an AI detector tool, mainly because my internal detector (my brain) felt that it was AI. If I picked up on that, there's a chance others might too. So, a friendly suggestion: maybe try giving it a personal touch by writing it yourself. If a gig description comes off as generic and lazy, people might think the same about the service behind it, and that's not the impression you want to give off when buyers read your description. I hope this helps 🙂
  4. Even better than Fiverr? 😄 Or shall I say... Might we venture to posit that the efficacy and output quality of my strategic communication initiatives for sellers like you surpass that of Fiverr, in delivering premium transparancy?
  5. This is unfortunately fairly typical of the CS team. A boilerplate response, followed by crickets. But hopefully they will follow up now that Lena has made a ticket for you, since she's Fiverr staff 🙂
  6. Could perhaps be a bug, but then I'd expect it to show up for all gigs, not just one. Unless they're making changes to the portfolio in the category that's not working or something.. I would reach out to support and ask them, they can probably give you a better answer.
  7. From what I understand, you don't lose access to those based on a demotion alone, but you might due to the overall quality of your gig (at least that's the case for promoted gigs). But I won't say for sure. I recently saw someone on the forum who got demoted and still had access to both, so that's what I'm basing this on.
  8. Couldn't have said it better myself. So I won't.
  9. To all sellers feeling like Fiverr is full of cheap buyers (I know I sometimes do), I just wanted to share a bit of an eye-roller we had at the newspaper I own, just to illustrate how the grass really isn't that much greener on the other side. Our marketing dept. got an inquiry for sponsored content, so we sent over our usual rates (they're in the thousands of euros). Here's the response: "My boss can pay $35 (including fee and taxes) for an article" I almost thought the guys had misread the date, and that it was sent on April 1st. Just goes to show that no matter what you're doing or what kind of business you're in, cheapskates are everywhere. By the way, here was my response, which I insisted on sending myself: -------------- -------------- Suffice it to say, I would've been angered by this if not for a decade's worth of psychological fortification against these guys, thanks to Fiverr. Better the devil you know than the devil you don't.
  10. At least now you have their reason, and hopefully your SM can figure out what happened based on that. If you didn't, some automatic system probably made a mistake (Fiverr seems to be relying heavily on AI and less and less on actual brainpower these days). Normally you should get an e-mail with a reason for the suspended account. Sorry I can't help you more.
  11. I understand that. How long has it taken since you reached out to support? I've seen them take a while before, especially when it comes to this type of thing because they probably have to check with the Trust and Safety team first, before they have an answer for you. Have you also tried your success manager (if you have Seller Plus Premium)?
  12. Unfortunately, there's not much you can do except ask support, because we're just sellers and buyers here on the forum, and we can't find out why this happened to you.
  13. We can't do much about account-specific issues like this here on the forum. You should raise a ticket with support. We're just sellers and buyers like you (and the occascional staff member who would say the same, to contact support).
  14. I couldn't live without Youtube Premium. I pay what, 12 bucks a month for it and have no ads, it helps the creators I like earn more, and I get Youtube Music, meaning I don't have to pay another 15 bucks to Spotify every month. Probably not. But nothing surprises me anymore.. Well.. Except the female brain, that is. I'll wait for the ticker tomorrow before I make up my mind, but you might be right.
  15. It was absolutely magnificent. I laughed in a shaking slightly uncrontrolled manner – some might even call it borderline maniacal – to the point of tipping over my nightly Red Bull Zero. I've now finished your book, and I like it. And no GPT in sight. We should get it translated into multiple languages.
  16. So GPT agrees with me! Yey! I must be smart...erchild. I wouldn't know about the ads. I use Adblock.
  17. Yes, when decisions are made by an AI algo and responses to our questions come from teenagers using GPT, expectations naturally adjust. If it's not financially sensible for you, canceling is the right move. I'm not advising anyone to stick with SP, that's just my personal choice. But it's downright cheeky for Fiverr to hike prices on those who spent hours helping to build the features. I spent hours in roundtables for this and other features over the years. It's just a slap in the face. Nothing more, nothing less.
  18. A user just made me aware of this: Fiverr International Ltd. has announced a plan to repurchase up to $100 million of its ordinary shares, a move that may be contested by the company’s creditors within a 30-day period. If no objections are filed, the buyback will proceed without the need for court approval. The execution of this share buyback plan will depend on market conditions and other factors, and the company reserves the right to adjust or cancel the program at any time. Source: Fiverr Announces $100 Million Share Buyback - TipRanks.com As I said to them: I'm willing to bet that they think it's undervalued and is a good buy. I'd say they're right, but it depends on their plans in the future, and we don't really know what they are. But they must think it will go back up again at some point. That, or they're just trying to improve earnings per share. Another reason to hold, I'd say, but then again, I'm no expert trader, even though I have a bit of stock in Fiverr. Perhaps someone with a better grasp on the stock market want to speculate?
  19. And it wasn't born in the US of A. 😛 But thanks, @levinewman - I'm not sure if that says more about this thread, or the current political climate in the US. I heard Hollywood is already churning out modern civil war movies.
  20. I purchased it at $29, and it wouldn't bother me if they increased the price to $39, $49, or even $99. I don't care. But raising the price on the groups of sellers who contributed to developing the feature as a form of "thanks" for a discount, only to earn a few thousand bucks more per year, is low.
  21. Well, yes, it's subjective, which is why I find mirroring a useful technique. What I do is mirror the buyer's communication style. If the buyer enjoys writing long and super-friendly messages, sharing details about their day and their spouse's knitting project, I'll share some personal anecdotes in return. However, if the buyer isn't much of a talker and just goes "Hey, I need this. This is my budget. Thanks," they likely prefer brevity, and I'll adapt to that (politely, ofc). If the buyer's English isn't strong or they use simple language, I'll adjust my communication to match theirs. You can usually tell quickly whether a buyer enjoys small talk or not, and their... level of sophistication... often comes across in their writing style. I also make sure that I'm clear from the outset about what's included and what's not. If the buyer feels understood and there's mutual clarity, minimizing unnecessary back-and-forth, you should do well enough. Responding quickly to their requests and messages will probably also help. But as Mike mentioned, it can be subjective, and I have no idea what actually goes into that metric because the Fiverr brand of "transparency" doesn't work like that. With that said, it's not all subjective... Even an amateur can distinguish between a tough, overcooked piece of cheap steak flattened with a sledgehammer and cooked in stale frying oil, and a sublime, perfectly marbled Wagyu steak expertly prepared. The issue is, not everyone likes steak, and that's the subjective part. The key is knowing whether the customer who walks in is a connoisseur seeking the finest meat experience in town or the weird vegan dude wearing a "Free the Cows" T-shirt and dreads. If you can satisfy both, you're a good chef (but then again, some chefs don't want to satisfy the weird vegan dude, or they're running a vegan place and wouldn't dream of cooking up anything but nasty "burgers" made from soy protein and starch.
  22. I love that interview. Peterson handled it so much better than I would have.
  23. I don't think the price itself is unreasonable; it's the way they're doing this that bothers me. I signed up at $29, so I'm facing a $10 increase per month, which is pocket change. But like Levi, I haven't received the email about the increase yet. What I dislike is how they've made the service worse, with a team of SMs churcning out AI-generated nonsense that I can get faster and cheaper from GPT. I've seen a couple of e-mails that other sellers have shared, and when I ran it through AI detectors it flashed red at 98% AI generated. Go figure. I also dislike that they're not honoring the original price for the first 200 who got it at $19, or for those like me who got it at $29 (?). It's about not pissing on your best people. I believe there are parts of SP that is worth more than the new price, to some. But the shift from quality to quantity makes it come across as c**p. It's only about how long the landing page list of features is. I'm not planning to cancel my subscription just yet, and honestly, I don't think doing so would make much of a difference, for the same reason that I could increase the subscription fee of the newspaper I own by 15% overnight, and only lose 20 subscribers while increasing revenue. Because most people don't cancel. So, even if 50 or 100 sellers opt out, they'll likely recoup those numbers quickly. They have around 25k Seller Plus members, if I remember correctly.. I actually agree with you. I'd love to see it as a general paywall. Personally, I'm also happy with my SM (not that I need her much but she's always there and she talks to me like a human). If the increase makes it easier for the SMs to help those who do want to pay properly, I'm all for it. But I don't think they will. More likely, they will fire most of them and just tell us to not use our SMs instead, you know, like they did last week. Exactly. Sorry I'm adding to the jinx pot. And this is exactly why it's behind a paywall. Someone else might feel that way about another feature. But I don't like this one simply because RTO is the only way for sellers to protect themselves against a problem Fiverr created in the first place. Carnivore diet here!
