Official feedback thread re: the new leveling system
Alex.M replied to frank_d's topic in Fiverr.com Feedback
not really... I have gigs with 10 reviews that don't have a success score and gigs with 2 reviews that have one -

I have at least 5 since the new rating system ... on the long run it's not much when you have 10k plus reviews but with a bit of bad luck and a few 1 star reviews you can easily get in trouble now. -

I think that the buyers have the option to hide those stats though. -

How? Did support help or do they have an option to edit reviews again ?! -
Official feedback thread re: the new leveling system
Alex.M replied to frank_d's topic in Fiverr.com Feedback
and in the meanwhile it seems that this is still happening but support doesn't really care, I showed them an article online about this problem and the reply was.. ''I kindly suggest you refrain from listening to suggestions you find on the internet over the advice from Customer Support. We are always transparent with our users'' -

well yes, they tell us that they are transparent however the reality is the exact opposite it seems. -

I think this is happening to me as well... lately from 10 orders only 2 sellers left reviews, the others just marked thee order as complete -
In theory, you could yes but depends on what you are selling, I personally can't do this. It would be a bit too extreme to be outside your country and use teamviewer to ' work from home ' in my opinion. Hopefully, this issue will be solved and we'll have a statement from Fiverr about this .

Update: Addressing new level system questions and feedback
Alex.M replied to Kesha's topic in News From the Product Team
Unfortunately, they won't give you a clear answer, I assume that they are going to say that this is influenced by other gigs in your category that are performing better ( they left room for this in case they don't have a real answer ) -

The ones that will suffer are only us. These are the consequences of Fiverr's actions -

Nothing is right on Fiverr for now 🙂 so this is completely normal in their eyes -

Because 4 > than 5 I am not even upset, I know that it's not the buyer's fault 🙂 That's what Fiverr wanted him to rate. But now I will have more orders and be more trustworthy because 4 stars is a more credible review than a 5 stars one. ( according to some ********* ) you can replace those stars with whatever word you wish. Why don't we all rate our buyers 3-4 stars randomly... for a while? Just a thought.. that way they can be more trustworthy as well. -
Unfortunately delivering the same file again.. is not allowed, you can get in trouble for that.

or it might not... I don't know why they are not telling us something clear , we shouldn't guess, we shouldn't know the facts -

huh , but they do reply ... especially if you are a seller plus member... ' huh ' -
Well @ana_tomy is definitely not afraid to answer however some mods/fiverr staff don't have the authority to do that, she is only a messenger here, definitely she's not the one to blame
-
Well, you can't .. as @ana_tomy said, but I can tell you what I do. Most of the time I am adding additional files or items that are not even included in the order, it doesn't take me too much time to do them in most cases. I also notify the buyer regarding the progress of the order. I always send follow-ups after delivering the files I usually do revisions if necessary in less than 24 hours, most of the times it take much less What you can do is to remind the buyer that he can accept the order in case he doesn't need anything else with the mention that if someone needs to be added at a later time he can send you a message. You don't really need to ask for a review if you know how to talk with your buyer. Most of them are decent persons honestly 🙂 with a few exceptions

Update: Addressing new level system questions and feedback
Alex.M replied to Kesha's topic in News From the Product Team
yes and no 🙂 I handled 30-40 orders back in the day when the only price was 5$ , this was 9-10 years ago though but yes sometimes this resulted in a lot of negative reviews not to mention that I was only sleeping for 4-5 hours each day , overall it was not worth it -
