  1. If you're talking about Pro gigs then they can easily add a check in the software to make sure none of the prices can be < $100 if they wanted to do that. They can also run an automated process to set any that are < $100 now to a different status (eg. paused) if they wanted to. So surely that wouldn't need to be manual thing. They may have permission if they're currently set under $100. Yes, I agree that type of check would be easy to accomplish. I'm not sure what stands in the way of doing that.
  2. I saw where a couple of TRS who were also PROs - who most likely knew better - had set up gigs below the $100 minimum threshold. I contacted CS and asked about it, and those gigs soon disappeared. It may be that the Fiverr team just hasn't been able to keep up with all the people who violate that threshold.
  3. Great question! When PRO first started, they wanted you to pause all non-PRO gigs, but more recently I'm seeing the trend you indicate. If they don't address this, it will dilute the PRO category some.
  4. Yes, it does sound like they've adjusted the requirements to some extent, but similar to the former Business requirements. I do think it is important to keep the $100 minimum threshold for Pro gigs, so I'm glad they're sticking by that.
  5. I agree - I like what I'm seeing. The new Fiverr Pro layout looks really nice. I like that they are now hand-picking new Pros as well. For a while, they were accepting a lot of people to Pro pretty randomly, it seemed to me, without the same level of vetting as those who joined early.
  6. Spacing of the profiles and how it was impacted by the gig image is a significent factor. If it pushed everything down and reduced conversions, then it's like that favorite sentence you write that just doesn't work. You love it - but it has to go! Thanks for sharing, @Trisha_Fiverr. Actually, I was able to use part of the image as my LinkedIn header, so I got some use out of that profile image I had made.
  7. Absolutely - this is a great marketing tool, so removing it would diminish the effectiveness of the Pro profile.
  8. Keep the application open - going Pro was the best thing I've ever done on Fiverr! Sounds like they have made the change away from saying Business Profile on that button for everyone. I've wondered if they might be headed toward combining Pro and Business - it was initially reported that the Business Profile might only be for a select group of top sellers, then they sort of opened it up in a way that diluted the effectiveness of it, in my opinion. I never did understand why someone would want to post their gig exclusively on the Business side of the platform. That just closes off a big portion of the buying market that doesn't use that function.
  9. That makes sense. I had to special order an image of these dimensions.
  10. Yes, I wish they hadn't gotten rid of that Business Profile cover image - hoping as they make changes it will come back. Any idea if this image will be restored, @Trisha_Fiverr? Or could we put in a request to have it restored? Mine certainly made my Pro Profile look more professional.
  11. Well isn't that interesting! I have the same on my profile. I guess they're shifting the Pro setup already. I checked "Fiverr Business" and it is the same, and includes Non Pro sellers. I wonder if that will change?
  12. Thanks for remembering that! He said that on July 23rd, so we're getting close!
  13. In a few weeks, we will announce the largest update to Fiverr Pro since we launched it, and we wanted to share it with you first as a Pro member. OK, so that announcement was made on July 5th. It's been a few weeks. I'm hoping we hear something about this update soon! 👍
  14. Interesting, and thanks for the confirmation! Let's hope it continues at this pace. It will be good for all of us.
  15. I know they haven't announced the rollout of Fiverr Pro 2.0 yet, but in the last couple of days, I have received work requests from some of the best buyers I have seen in quite a few months. Large jobs, like editing a lengthy business plan or a very long blog article. Looks like something is going on. Pretty cool!
  16. Interesting, and potentially very helpful. I can only remember one occasion where it would have helped me, but it's great to see the option!
  17. I was wondering about that. Thanks for the update!
  18. I agree with Vickie completely on this item. Any light that could be shed on our BSR standing would be very helpful.
  19. I have the blue icon, but only on my profile. Not a fan - it doesn't indicate "Pro" but looks like a Twitter verified profile check mark. I certainly hope the Pro 2.0 that was promised will be more than cosmetic.
  20. Interesting. So this now lays over our TRS status, and makes it not as visible. Wonder what that will mean?
  21. Thanks for the further confirmation, Mike.
  22. Maybe a visual glitch. Great point! I just tried the message thread on another browser, and it was fine. Looks totally about the browser.
  23. Thanks for letting me know, Vickie. May just be on my profile.
  24. I also saw that my message threads are now not displaying correctly. I just reported it to CS, and asked that it be addressed as an immediate priority. Anybody else have this issue? I suspect it happened at the same time as the algorithm adjustment Mike just spotted.
  25. Very interesting! I just checked Copy Editing, Video Scriptwriting, and Sales Copy and saw the same thing.
