These my experience on Fiverr to rank good.
"Fiverr editorial team gonna like your gig"
That’s the reason they will put you in a good place in search result.

I see some new and low rank gig always display on the main page, some TRS , high quality gig not displaying at all, or at the very bottom of the search result, you need to click 'More… Also don’t you see Fiverr always interview, introduce the same few seller & their gig again and again, eh?

Just do your best, and don’t hope to be successful overnight.

If you guys are not able to switch ON your computer 24x7, install Fiverr App in your Android or iPhone, which will show you are available online all the time if you are connected to the internet. When you receive message, you will receive notification in your mobile and you can do instant replies from mobile to increase conversion rate, response time and finally ranking.

Completely agreed. Even more, if you keep your computer on just to appear online while you’re not at your computer, and a buyer decides to contact you, what impression does he get? You are online, but you decide to reply 5 hours later? From my point of view, this one is a really bad advice.

Just because you don’t care doesn’t mean no one cares. It’s useful for people who need/want to contact the seller first and would like an answer quickly.

That’s interesting, and I admit the iPhone battery lasts a long time. However, some buyers insist on messaging you before they order, and if they see an online seller not responding, they might end up ordering from someone else. So it’s a double edge sword.

Your No 3 method is so much wrong. it will not improve your gig rank but it will help you to drop your gig rank and if you try it more and more then you have better chance to denied your gig or out of fiverr search result.

Just Wanna say, Buyers can see your local time after sending you message always be honest no need to be showing your status online 24/7.
18/7 is good enough to earn.
Main thing you need to maintain your gig, description matching tags and keep checking your analytic, Try to avoid cancellation of order
