Buyer requested a mutual cancellation

Hello fiverrs,



Recently, I was asked to cancel an order by a buyer prior to delivery. This was not a problem. I would rather they cancel the order before the work is done than after. I had, as requested, provided a short sample of the work and within a minute the cancellation request came in.



The reason was that the buyer felt that English was not my native tongue.



I was not offended by this commentary as much as bewildered.



I wished them well and canceled as requested.



My tip: always be kind to buyers and sellers. Kindness translates well in any language.

My question: does this happen to other writers here?
