Anyone else offering graphic services ever get contacted to "recreate diagrams"

Sorry, couldn’t fill out the rest of the title. I was contacted by some ‘buyer’ who sent me a bunch of diagrams to ‘copy’ and send back to him within “an hour” (without paying yet!), so that he can “decide which seller to go with”. I am pretty sure this is a scam to get free work but buddy, some of us cannot even think about using our skills to do FREE sample stuff. My portfolio is in plain site smh. Anyone else got hit?

Why even think about it? I send those types a generic “sorry I can’t respond right now” message and forget about them. I’m not an artist but I’m sure lots of us get things like this. Forget about them.
