You can search the forum for topics that you are interested in. You can also read the Terms of Service.

You can browse the categories you are interested in and see what people are NOT offering. Copying existing services won't really help you that much. 

There are plenty of ways to grow as a seller, it always comes down to being unique and not offering the same service as everyone. But I always see lots of new sellers copy-pasting existing services, thinking they will have tons of sales.

They're... kind of not? When a child enters school for the first time, he or she is not expected to 'catch up' to a student who's about to graduate. Just like there are no shortcuts to learning the material in school, there are no shortcuts to establishing a long-lasting business. Growth takes time, experience, dedication, and self-education.

You make it sound as if it's the job of experienced sellers to help you. It's not. Or as if you're entitled to their free time, as if they owe it to you to teach you. You're not entitled to their time, and they owe you nothing.

That being said: experienced sellers have posted a lot of advice for newcomers, as well as their own experience. Go on and read it.

It's probably best for a new seller to do things they're best at and most interested in. Also probably making sure any text in gig descriptions or profile text is written well enough (eg. if someone was going to offer creative writing gigs then double checking the gig/profile text would probably be helpful, eg. with a grammar checker etc.).

You have to help yourself. This is a professional site. So you have to analyze your competitors and try to make your services unique. Try to deliver more quality work than your competitors and grow by yourself.
