emilyrose93
Before it was $132.What’s up with the decimal point?
thejeffcallaway
Same here! Maybe Fiverr is gonna cut their share from 20% and now we need a decimal point! Well probally not but one can guess! lol
ryuken
It seems we are likely to get more cut with fiverr, more taxes perhaps. 😉
spark4hope
Or they will increase most likely to 22% or more so we will need a decimal point…Why they don’t share the upcoming updates to see where we will go from one point?
frank_d
I don’t know guys, each time I see something new on the website I keep fearingit’s for the worse. I have a bad feeling about this…
spark4hope
Reply to @frank_d: Me too… The same with the star rating feature, now with the decimal point… can’t be good.

pr_junction
yeah, i saw that and felt that it’s just an addon style. And now reading comments here, fear that it may be a cut in profit!
ryuken
I think they are going to add 2 bucks cut for one gig + paypal withdrawal charge on us. Which means 1$ cut wont be there and at the time paypal will charge us as per the amount, which is more compared to current withdrawal. if this applied then we’re going to go away from the 1$ cut to more charges. that change won’t be good. I hope that this decimal point is not for something bad like this. It is indeed feeling bad

frank_d
And the fact that they implement something without announcing it, means it’s something really REALLY bad.

spark4hope
Give me 3 reasons or 3 things that Fiverr did for sellers and not for them or for buyers… 🙂
frank_d
Yeah over the past 5-6 months or so, they keep pushing us sellers with new systems that serve Fiverr and Buyers. They keep ignoring all of our requests and it feels like we -sellers- are expendable to them. mrproofreading
Reply to @spark4hope:I’m surprised you haven’t figured this out yet. At the moment, TRS have access to the custom quote feature whereby you can sell gigs outside of the normal $5 integer (i.e. $6/7/8). The decimal point is simply to accommodate that, as fiverr will still take 20% of $6, which would be $1.20.
ynneblack
Reply to @mrproofreading: Only TRS? Wow great.
spark4hope
Reply to @mrproofreading: I know about the custom quote feature but the decimal point is something new and appear to level 1 and 2 users too.
surfdude001
Let’s hope that this is to accommodate the needs of the TRS’ special pricing. A commission increase is definitely not something any of us would like. 😦
ujbandara
Initially, i didn’t see the decimal point, just saw the extra zero and wonder how it multiplied by Ten… and feels happy for a moment…uJ
youpul
Reply to @ujbandara: I don’t have such issue, coz zero multiplied by 10 is equal to zero balance…

mrproofreading
Reply to @spark4hope: Yes, I imagine the beta stage is now over and the feature will be rolled out across the entire site. I believe the decimal point is to help incorporate that.
