Earthquakes in Turkey and Syria

Hey everybody.

As many of you would already know, 2 major earthquakes have hit the southeast part of the Turkey and Syria at 06.02.2023

First one occured at 04.17 in the morning with the strenght of 7.7

Second one occured the same day at 13.24 with the strenght of 7.6

Both earthquakes hit the same cities.

This was a major destruction as it leveled some cities. Tens of thousands of buildings have collapsed. More than 20.000 people have died, 80.000 people are injured and numbers keep increasing. The fact that it happened during the night is the worst. People were sleeping in their homes. 

Now many people is struggling with the cold outside, people trapped in the rubbles of the buildings also has to endure cold as they are just laying there waiting for help in their sleepwear. Plus the hunger, thirst and injuries they might have.

5 days have passed and there are still some people alive in the rubbles, even children. And many who rescued are helpless.
