Why does my Fiverr gig disappear from the search result?

digitalmarketr9

Question

I am  Level 2 seller
my Gig scores are 4.9 in the public rating,
my gig has (133) 5 Orders in Queue
why am I ineligible for the "Promoted Gigs" feature?

My gig is also not shown in the search result ?

My  gig was receives about 2 or 3 orders per day, and now, no one ordered from past 3 days. It is not visible on the search.  it is not showing up until the very last page. My gig is active and can be seen via direct link.

Did someone have similar experience and how did you fixed it?

I will appreciate your response guys…

Can you tell me the reason behind this and also what will be soltion of that?

Well, you could also just look at my answers or search the forum 😉 after all you are the one who has a problem and you didn’t even put an effort searching the forum.

But sure, here is the reason and solution: your gig being unqualified for promotion is a strong hint that it’s your performance. As per the notification you received your quality metrics went down and you don’t fulfil hidden criteria anymore for promoted gigs.
Fiverr has a lot of hidden metrics and also two hidden reviews that clients can leave and they can be very different from your public ones as they are anonymous.
Organic ranking also depends on your performance and if it went down then your organic ranking also went down.
Plus searching for your gig is pretty useless with a new algorithm because you might not be able to find it but other people do because fiverr is matching results to different people. If your impressions more than zero then your gig IS shown in search.
Inprove your performance and your ranking will also improve.

Edit: And no you weren’t delivering top notch work throughout. You have a 1 star review in last month and over 5 reviews with 4 stars. And those are just public reviews, you can imagine that those people could be even more rough in a private review.

Plus as you didn’t want to put an effort to search the forum here is a link for the topic for you to read:

But the problem is that my gig is not appreaing in even 20 pages.

If you were to read previous discussions about this topic (which are abundant on this forum), you would come to understand that where YOU see your gig in search results, is not where other people see it. The search system is not a ranking system, it is a matching system. The Fiverr algorithm seeks to match great gigs to specific buyers it thinks might purchase a gig. Therefore, when someone searches for gigs like yours, only those searchers that are a good match for your gig will see it, and they might see it on the 1st page.

Your gig is in the system. Don't worry about where YOU see it in the results.

In the marketplace, a Gig's position is based on the seller’s performance over a set period. Gig positions are not permanent and can rotate daily.

There are many factors to take into consideration, some of which may include:

  • Order cancellations
  • Delivery rate
  • Responsiveness
  • The particular Gig’s maximum number of active orders in the queue, as based on your seller level.
  • Other Gigs performing at a higher rate.

If other sellers are ranked higher, they may be consistently getting 5-star feedback, delivering on time, communicating quicker, and so on. It all counts. For this reason, ensure that you provide high-quality and original work, avoid late deliveries and cancellations, are responsive, and always remain professional.

The above is from the Help Centre.
