I think these self congratulatory posts at random points are designed as a sort of spam.  Thinking being, "Let me show everyone on the forum that I the Mack Daddy of logo design, and they'll all order from me." Not to mention that probably seems silly to the people who have sold 5,000 logos and are not here patting themselves on the back. Never been a fan of "YAY ME!"
