Hi! I don’t know what are the best steps to follow in this case.
Seller sent a book I requested and it looked encoded. Indeed, if I copy-pasted a sentence in Google, it didn’t show. But, once I figured that out, I typed that sentence manually, and then many more, on Google and they were all copy pasted from different sites from the internet. I luckily didn’t accept the order yet. What should I do? Thank you

If the seller submitted the offer you can ask for revision. If the order already completed then you can inbox him and discuss it.

You should ask for cancellation.
If it’s a big piece and they just changed letters there I doubt they will deliver original work if you request a recesión.

Or even better to contact support, report a seller for using plagiarised work and ask them to cancel the order

Absolutely report them to Fiverr Customer Service.

You should not have to deal with dishonest sellers and neither should anyone else on here. That’s the kind of thing that gives Fiverr a poor reputation.

There is no other solution, ask for a refund. Also you can use this tool to detect plagiarism: https://www.quetext.com/

Refund was given immediately. Well, of course. I don’t know though if they’ll ever learn the lesson…

Seller was reported. Also, he was selling/buying from another seller with the same gigs and profile description. So I reported them both. It’s unbelievable, they have many reviewed meaning that they made fun of many buyers already 😦

I’d cancel.

The Seller has obviously taken on a job he/she is not qualified to complete properly.

As a freelance writer myself, that really bothers me.

However, once I was accused of plagiarism and I used Copyscape at the time to filter everything I wrote.

I think the Buyer just didn’t want to use my services and used that as a way to get me to cancel the order.

Your situation is different than that.
