pandekage
I was recently commissioned to do an architectural drawing via one of my gigs. Once the drawing was completed and delivered, the buyer then claimed that I owed several drawings, insisting that purchasing my gig granted him a “continual” string of drawings until he had one that he liked. In essence he “misread” the gig description (feel free to check out what the gig actually says on my profile). Contacting Fiverr support provided several options: Do what the buyer says, or request a cancellation. Either of which provides the buyer with more than he paid for.In short, apparently purchasing a gig, then claiming a misreading of the fine text, grants you either more than what you paid for, or free content. Who knows, perhaps this is already quite widespread, but I would hate for my fellow sellers to fall victim to this.
Guest matt_garry
my dad was an architect and he basically had the same problem in real life so I cant imagine the pain of selling this stuff on a platform like this :S
pandekage
Ah, but I daresay that actual architectural works encompass a contract of some sort, and the architect is actually paid on a rate.
Guest matt_garry
I don’t think anything is stopping you from signing a contract or adding a detailed policy on your gig 🙂
