Creating Voiceover with 2 people at remote locations

I have a project where I know I will need multiple Fiverr voiceover people to record parts of a conversation. Ultimately, those recordings will need to be spliced together to sound like a conversation b/w 2 people in the same room.

Are there any tricks to this approach to make sure it sounds professional? Or is it one person records one side of the conversation and then I send the audio to the voice #2 and let them do there thing?

Hi Marty, you can either do what you said, or you can hire someone to voice one of the roles and also splice the 2 together. It can be tricky if one of the VO people has very different room tone and you’re not putting background music against it to mask it, but a good producer will often be able to make it sound okay, especially if both recordings are well-done.

There are also a couple VO sellers who offer multi-voice services, so that’s an option as well; here’s one that I know of (it’s not my profile, fyi): www.fiverr.com/lisabaarns
