  1. Hello, recently, my response rate has increased to 3 hours from 1 hour. I'm considering setting up an auto-reply on my account because most of the messages that come in late at night remain unanswered for a long time, sometimes 8-9 hours, which affects my response rate. However, I feel that setting up an auto-reply sometimes seems unprofessional. Additionally, a few buyers send their requirements in multiple messages, like 2-3 or even 3-4 messages, and setting up an auto-reply might discourage them from messaging further. I worry this could negatively impact the client's experience. Should we still set up an auto-reply on our account? Also, sometimes I'm online or it's daytime when I may not want the buyer to receive an auto-reply, but the system will still send one. Should sellers set up an auto-reply or not?
  2. Hi There, I am pleased to share my first experience on fiverr. I have got my first order within one day gig creation. I believe, this is the most happiest part of a freelancer and also achieved 5 star review on first order from buyer. As a new freelancer on Fiverr I would love to hear from expert to get some more tips and tricks to get more orders. Thank you so much.
  3. Hello, as the title says. I newly registered on Fiverr as a buyer and am looking to put together a team of at least 5 freelancers for different jobs for a project. I need to message and prospect many different potential hires. This is for a job where I need some through expertise and need to gather a pool of potential hires first and then select the right fit. Is there a limit that I should be aware of? How many freelancers can I message my job proposal without getting flagged for spam? I'm pretty sure at some point the system might auto-flag me prospecting freelancers. Does anyone have information as to what message limit is safe (for a new user) / per day? Thank you.
  4. Why show my response rate 5 hours? please tell me someone.
  5. For the same reason, I never tried enabling or using them. The entire concept feels very robotic/inhuman. When every requirement and buyer is unique, it makes sense to reply as humanly as possible to them. Plus, if a buyer expects prompt replies at 3AM, then they're already a red flag!! 😂
  6. the 1st chapter success rate ? it makes absolutely zero sense gig 1 : 2000 orders, 5* rating, 50% returning customers = success rate 4 ; gig 2 : 3 orders, 5* star rating, 0% returning customers = success rate 8
  7. Sellers need to have the ability to block abusive buyers. Blocking an abusive buyer was our only form of protection and painless way to avoid unwanted experiences. Please reconsider your decision to remove this essential option.
  8. I have the auto-reply on and, as far as I know: 1) it does not have any impact on your response rate, in my case it only serves to ask buyers to provide more information on their project; 2) It works only after the initial message from a buyer. They do not receive an auto-reply each time they send a message.
  9. Auto reply DOES NOT affect the average response rate. We still need to reply to messages manually and system takes only that into account!!
  10. I read on the Forum once that auto responses were aggravating to buyers who would rather interact with a seller, so I stopped using them. Fiverr gives us 24 hours to respond to a buyer before our response time declines, so what is the point?
  11. Hello, I have conducted extensive research to optimize the buyer experience and SEO of my listings, but I'm still not receiving orders. Although I have a good number of impressions and clicks on my listings, no one is placing orders. Is this due to my new status or lack of reviews compared to others?
  12. Hello, I am a seller on Fiverr from around a year and there is only 1 gig of mine that is getting me some orders, even they are not that much but still comparatively this gig of mine is better performing than others. I have around 1400 impressions of that gig but the problem is that I feel the gig thumbnail is not that much good as the clicks are just 37 and orders are 7, even the conversation rate is so low just 0.48%. I feel this might be because of my gig thumbnail so I was thinking of changing the thumbnail with a better one as the current thumbnail is not that good and has irrelevant things also such as 5$ only which is anyway visible to the client and doesn't needs to be specified and looks cheap too, even my gig description is not that good, it isn't bad either but still the description has very less words and isn't that comprehensive so I was thinking of updating my gig with a better thumbnail and description but I am worried that this might impact my gig's impressions badly and this might cause the impressions also to go down. Will making these changes affect my gig's impressions adversely?
  13. You should delete the duplicate gigs first. That's what you should do at first! Afterwards, read the following thread so that you can get more knowledge about Fiverr. Ignore content on Buyer Request.
  14. I'm pretty sure that they've only ever had an order with me--that one indicated here--and the amount was exponentially higher than what the stats say the client's average order price is. I'm not sure how many sellers have been in a situation with the same factors, or if I'm reading this right, but either way it would be nice to know because it is a selling point of Seller Plus.
  15. No sweat! Sending your work via chat instead of using the "deliver now" button won't cause any big issues as long as the buyer gets what they need.
  16. No worries! Delivering your work through the chat instead of the "deliver now" button is a common mistake. It shouldn't cause any major issues as long as the buyer receives the files and is satisfied with the work. Just remember to use the "deliver now" button next time to follow the proper process. Keep up the good work, and things should continue to pick up for you!
  17. Hi, is it allowed to send a thanking message to the buyer who purchase my logo design through Fiverr Logo Maker ? so if she/he need more services they can contact us through message? anyone doing it already?
  18. Hi! This is not a problem I have run into before. I schedule my work in advance, and state on my gigs that I should be contacted first before any purchases are made. The buyer asked if I could beta read a 71k manuscript for them. I replied that I would be happy to on the 16th of May as my schedule is full until then. I suggested he purchase the gig now to book that slot, but not send me the manuscript until the 15th as the delivery countdown does not start until the manuscript has been sent. I do this with all clients and no one has been tripped up by this before. He then just immediately purchased the gig from me and sent the manuscript. I sent him a delivery extension request reiterating that I did not have the space until the 16th as mentioned in my previous messages. He declined the extension and said he didn't see my other messages about starting on the 16th. What do I do now? Can I request to extend it again? I have multiple other manuscripts to work through and unless I forgo sleep and take no days off for the rest of the month, I will not have time to complete his order.
  19. Below the Impressions and clicks there is another Indicator we found is Conversion Rate and it is shown in %. Do anyone can explain it? How it is calculated?
  20. Greetings Fiverr Community, I trust this message finds you all in good health and high spirits. As a seasoned full-stack web developer, I recently embarked on my journey with Fiverr, eager to offer my expertise to clients worldwide. Despite my enthusiasm, I've yet to receive any buyer briefs, and I'm keen to understand what steps I can take to attract them. I've thoroughly acquainted myself with the platform's mechanics, particularly the process wherein buyers submit their project requirements and Fiverr matches them with suitable sellers. However, despite my efforts, I've yet to be matched with any briefs. I'd greatly appreciate any insights or guidance from fellow community members on how to increase my visibility and start receiving briefs promptly. Thank you all for your time and assistance. Warm regards, Syeda Sobia Manzar
  21. Though I thought private reviews were at least valuable or more to Fiverr for the stats so getting one of those could be just as okay to the system (eg. the buyer satisfaction rate is more likely made up (or mostly) of stats from private ratings). Maybe the message asking for feedback could say they could leave private feedback if they didn't want to leave the public review. Though for the things buyers in general see then the public reviews will help if they're positive (or a few negative ones could also be okay as long as there's not too many and they're replied to well by the seller).
  22. How can I apply for a new job if we don't see job offer? I am trying to keep stay online, but I don't understand what I can do for a new order. I have sharp experience in my category. My category is AI applications. thanks
  23. As a new Seller on Fiverr, the idea of having a full inbox and a steady influx of orders is very exciting! However, the reality can quickly get overwhelming. Once your gigs start to gain some attention, you will notice a significant increase in business. You must learn how to manage Buyer demand and your personal availability, so you can give each order the necessary attention. Otherwise, you risk a drop in Buyer satisfaction, order cancellations, late deliveries, and negative reviews - all of which impact your business. Learning to manage your workload will also help you achieve a healthy work-life balance. Whether your freelance business is your main source of income or a side hustle, taking on too many orders at once can cause you to overwork yourself. Your mental health and well-being are critical to your personal and professional success. Managing Incoming Orders Although Fiverr Buyers can head to your Gig page and place an order without warning, there are still ways to manage incoming orders: 1. Extend turnaround times Offering quick turnaround times is a great way to increase the value of your services. However, if you are struggling to deliver on time, you may submit work that is not up to your standards. Go into your Gig settings and extend each timer by one day to better set expectations and give yourself a time buffer. You can always change it back once you learn to work faster and more efficiently. 2. Communicate honestly When communicating with prospective Buyers, be upfront and honest about your current workload. Let them know that you are very interested in working together and that you can deliver as soon as [X date]. It can be tempting to make exceptions for Buyers who are willing to pay more for extra-fast delivery, but it’s important to prioritize your mental health and orders that have already begun. It’s okay to let Buyers know that you are unable to fulfill their request right now and would be happy to help them out in the future. 3. Request an extension If a Buyer places an order before you have a chance to discuss your availability, you may request to extend the delivery date. When doing so, be sure to communicate that you value their business and want to give their order the attention it deserves. Most often, Buyers will appreciate the fact that you know your limits and will take the time you need to deliver a high-quality product. Managing Availability If the volume of orders is too high, and you’ve already followed the steps above to manage your workload, adjust your availability. Here are tips for taking advantage of the Set Availability feature: 1. Use it to catch up on orders If you need to take a break from answering new messages and receiving new orders, you can essentially pause your profile by setting yourself as Unavailable. If you have the capacity, you can choose to still accept messages from new Buyers and let them know that you aren’t accepting new orders at the moment, but you would be happy to get an order going with an extended delivery time. 2. Take some personal time It’s necessary to take time for yourself, your family, and other important things in your life! When you need to focus on things unrelated to work, set your profile to Unavailable for as much time as you need. Depending on how long you’re away, you may realize that your ranking might have changed once you are back, which is normal as your competitors may continue to complete orders and get buyer satisfaction responses while you are away. As you complete the orders your ranking can go back to where it was before. In addition to managing your incoming orders and availability, you can lean on others for support! If you frequently realize that you have more work than you can handle, it might be time to build a team that you can lean on. There are other excellent Sellers on Fiverr, such as virtual assistants or people in your industry, to whom you can delegate tasks. Want to read more? 24. Hey Fiverr Community, Recently a buyer contacted me for a project on Fiverr and sent me her\ his WhatsApp number in an attachment. I told her\ him to keep all the things on Fiverr. Then she\ he agreed & eventually, I offered two custom orders as her\ his need. She\ He replied with "Sure" but then didn't give me any message. Then I thought it might be spam so I reported her\ him and blocked. Will it affect my account? Is it right what I did? How should I avoid getting personal information from buyers? (Please provide me with the correct information & I didn't share any personal information.)
