Hello fiverr freelancers, Hope all are doing well.

So basically I really need help from you guys.

Actually my account has been hacked at 20th April. The client has shared a link to my inbox and told me to create a site like that.

I clicked on the link and after some moments I saw, My Fiverr account has been logged out from my mac and as well as my phone. After seeing this, I was shocked and tried to login again and fortunately I logged in.

And then after that for my security I gone to CS for getting an idea that how the scammer got the access of my Fiverr account and just wanted to know if there’s any issue with my account as the scammer got the access of my account I was a bit scared

So after that the CS has restricted my account for no reason, and asking me to fill up the last 4 number of my mobile digits, date of birth and Fiverr security questions

I provided the first 2 things which is mobile digit and the date of birth, but unfortunately I forgot the security answers and I was not able to provide that.

Then they have asked me to guess the answer, I tried but got no luck.

So in this case I told them that I can provide my Government ID which has been used to create my seller profile but they have refused that and asking me again n again for the security questions.

In this case, is there anyone can help me to bring my profile back? And also ( @Kesha ) or ( @Lena ) or ( @Seven ) anyone here who can kindly have a look into my profile and bring this back?

I am already working with my clients and as I got restricted no new clients can send me message or I can’t even sent any messages. Even my gigs are also in denied position

That means I really do not have any other scope to get more work, so as soon as possible I am trying my best to recover this profile

And just want to start where I have left

Thats all my story, I am very pleased to get the community freelancer support to stand with me and get my account back 🙁

    Thanks,
    Likhon Ahmed

This is very sad to me, I mean really this is going to harm you badly, at least you should note down all the answers then maybe they can be able to fix this account issue. But I highly believe that fiverr CS will soon going to release your account and start it from where you were in the market.

I have noticed a increase in buyers who order, but than do not fill in the requirements, like, how can i start your order, if you dont let me know what you want done? Some noted they did add the download link, some stated they did send it through using Fiverr, but i don't believe that seeing it worked in the past or Fiverr has changed it's order system, i have not ordered in a while so i don't know.

Mostly they are agencies who do this. Even the order is also from an agency but I really hate to work on like this way

Tried to manage somehow but the issue she doesn't talk much and I am not sure not what the changes she is asking for. I understand she can be busy but she hired me for something to get not for joke, and it's of course not a funny thing for me.

But I am still stuck with her, let's see when I can deliver the things to her

I received an email yesterday, which said, "We have reviewed your Gigs and have determined that the services you are offering are harm the integrity of our marketplace and violate our Community Standards and our Terms of Service. As a result, your account is currently under review by our Trust and Safety team."

What should I do now? I have contacted the support team, but have not received a response yet. How long does this review usually take? Please help me, Fiverr is my main source of income and I don't want to lose it.

If you have solid proofs that you are loyal with the marketplace. Show to them I believe they will fix it

Like I explained in my first post, this happened to me before because the buyer didn't know they had to check Fiverr for messages. They thought everything would come via email. Sometimes we have to educate buyers on how to use Fiverr. So it might be that, or it could be any number of reasons, like illness, days off, them being very busy or simply not understanding that you need additional information and to be available for you. So it's impossible to say for sure, but it often helps if support reaches out. If she's not responding within 48 hours, I'd ask support to help out.

Alright I got you, I am going to wait for next 48 hours, let's see what happens nexts 🙂

Thanks for your kind suggestions @smashradio

Have you sent any actual work to the buyer?

Nope, she isn't talk to me. And she is new to me. That means I never have worked with her before. Even she didn't even ask. There is no conversation from her. Not a single 😞

If you're missing information required to complete the task, try reaching out to the buyer within the order page if you haven't already. Allow them some time to respond.

I got the info to start work but didn't got the figma access yet. Waiting and also sent her a message about that. I am not sure is she saw that or not 😞

I've experienced buyers ghosting me too. When support intervened, it helped resolve the issue. It turned out the buyer didn't know that they needed to log into their Fiverr account to check messages. They assumed all communications would come via email. Once support reached out through email, they finally responded to my desperate hails. 😅

Any idea why it happens? I mean, why does buyer does this ghosting ?

  8. A buyer order me without letting me know, that's fine. I am ready to work.

Even after placing an order she waited for 2 days she submitted all the details of work. But the problem is she doesn't even reply. But I saw she worked with 25 sellers before. And personally I am feeling a bit scared for this reason that is she a scammer or anything like that?

Because the work is on wix platform of web development. I am ready to work right now she provided me a figma and ask her to accept the request so that I can move forward.

    But still she didn't reply.

In this case, any suggestion for me sellers?

Also I am thinking what she just take my work and cancel the work after getting done with the work? (I believe I can do the work, but still I had an experience before like that when I was not in fiverr marketplace)

Also let me know what do you think ( @Lena ) or any comments or suggestions for me in case she betrays me? Does that gonna effect my gig or profile?

    Thanks,
    Jabir

In a recent forum post here, we discussed the importance of adding a seller intro video to your profile. Beyond this, you may also want to consider adding videos to each of your gigs.

Adding a gig video is an excellent way to showcase your individuality and stand out in the marketplace. Rather than relying on static gig images, a video allows you to effectively present what you offer in a captivating way. When making your video, keep these few things in mind.

First, it’s important to note that if you upload a gig video, it will override any gig images you have. This means that the video will be your primary chance to make a stellar first impression and engage potential buyers. Your video should be high-quality, clear, and free from any background noise. Uploading a subpar video can adversely impact buyers' perception of you as this will be their first impression.

Also, consider the length of your video, as videos can only be up to 75 seconds. Keep it concise and brief, using the time to introduce yourself, describe your service, and outline the buyer's expectations. Thorough, short, and attention-grabbing videos will keep your buyers attention and can push them to the next step. With this in mind, make sure to also include a call to action to encourage buyers to reach out.

In addition, we recommend always having some sort of audio in your gig video. This helps it to be more compelling. If your video contains narration, opt for using your voice instead of computerized narration to add a personal touch.

Finally, when you upload your gig video, make sure to always include a thumbnail. This step is important to remember because your video will pop up as the Gig Cover Image when buyers search in the marketplace.

In conclusion, if you're seeking a way to distinguish yourself in the marketplace, incorporating a video into your gigs is an excellent starting point. Just follow these simple steps, blend them with your creativity and expertise, and you'll craft a captivating gig video in no time.

For more information and tips on adding Gig Videos, visit this Help Center article here: https://help.fiverr.com/hc/en-us/articles/360010451657-Adding-a-Video-to-your-Gig

I already have this, but the video quality is a filter to get low or high ticket client

Hi @ham_raza, Fiverr sent a notice to all web designers last year telling them to set their minimum prices to $80 for web design, with a warning that if they didn't change their pricing, they would experience less visibility in search (which will affect the amount of orders that they are getting).

I noticed that you haven't gotten an order for 11 months and your lowest package is for $30 (to design a 5-page Elementor website). So that's one reason why you might not be seeing orders on that gig. Also, on all your gigs, you aren't utilizing the gig gallery to its fullest potential. You have a few images that contain too many words and don't show what you can do - and for a visually based service such as web design, that's huge. You won't convince any buyer of what you can do unless you can show them examples of your work - so put together a good portfolio for each of your gigs. You have a gig video, 3 images, and 2 PDFs that you can use to your advantage.

It's also important to understand all the factors that may be influencing your visibility on search. Every seller gets a Match Score, which tells Fiverr how relevant that seller is in search, for Promoted Gigs, and the Get Brief feature. @frank_d wrote a great series to help sellers understand all of the different factors that go into that match score and you can read his articles here:

    https://community.fiverr.com/forums/topic/300818-fiverr-40-some-thoughts-on-the-current-state-of-things/

I found these articles super helpful in understanding what I should focus on in my business - and it's not all about titles, tags, and SEO. It's about your quality of services and your ability to convert buyers into orders and create happy, repeat buyers.

You can also read more about the Match Score here:

    https://community.fiverr.com/forums/topic/293675-%F0%9F%93%88-fiverr-simplified-get-matched/

What about new seller? Do you really think for a new seller people will purchase $80 of services where we have already in the market who have lvl 2 and still selling a landing page for $80.

Of course the client will choose the lvl 2 seller who is offering $80, because as a new seller there will be no orders and reviews and why the client will hire a new seller for $80. No matter how a new seller is experienced in a client perspective, obviously client will not hire a new seller for $80
