  1. Maybe have some patience at first. Since you made 5 posts about the same thing, trying to get more visibility? I really don't get it, there's not robots or algorithms here. We're all humans, and most of us are sellers just like you. If you can't even wait 24h for a response about your own service then I'm not sure how you're gonna be able to handle "The Fiverr experience" or any other, business wise.
  2. Maybe.. hahaha. People keep suggesting the same things over and over. Some sellers can't even promote their gigs on Fiverr, I wonder what they're gonna do on other platforms. @dsd_technologyWelcome to the forum! You can find many useful posts on here, and many experienced sellers giving out free and REAL tips. Which are not those bots that keep copying and pasting the same stuff in every post. Here's an example of an useful source:
  3. I bet chatGPT never seen a '59 Cadillac.. hahah I guess now it's the era of bots, people are turning into "operators" that move information from point A to point B.
  4. Well it really is up to you actually. You're the one that decides how much time you need, the price and of course the revisions too. Make sure you let the buyer know how many revisions they have with the package they picked. Some jobs might require more revisions and some less, but it really is up to you.
  5. Sometimes being professional in specific things is better than having a vague and general knowledge on many things. Since one of your services is about typing and formatting why don't you start with your own gig. Your gig descriptions are very empty, I mean sometimes simple is best, but not too much. Put some more effort in developing those descriptions and gig packages. Same thing with your gig image, do something that the buyer might like. Something that might catch their interest, since you're also new on the platform you have to do something unique and that pops out from all the others. This doesn't mean that you have to put flashy colors or shapes and textures. You do the service you want on your own page. I see you're going for a very simplistic and minimalist style, which is quite trendy nowadays. This too..
  6. You claim to have a "15+ years of experience" in many many skills, but the text on your gig images don't even fit.. You either made a terrible mistake, which can happen or you're not really that honest. Also, on Fiverr you don't work per hour. You get paid the price you put in your service.
  7. Secret recipe, not really that secret anymore.. Quite useful to start off.
  8. It does happen, and it happens a lot. Especially with big time difference, it is what it is. Honestly for me if a buyer can't even wait a couple of hours or maybe half a day (Since they can see our location and current time) it is not a buyer for me. Same thing goes with those buyers that expect a professional service and are not even willing to spend 30 bucks. I had many clients messaging me during night time, and most of them don't even answer back in the morning. I actually find that most clients always have late responses to my deliveries or messages. Sometimes, if a buyer isn't really active, if you have a question you're gonna end up in delivering before them even answering that question, since you have limited time.
  9. Well your profile picture says it all, and your name too..
  10. Welcome! The forum is very useful If you look in the right places. Here's for an example one of the many free resources made by experienced sellers that will surely help you. The forum is very powerful if used the right way.
  11. When we had buyer request everyone was complaining about it somehow, and honestly it was full of spam messages. Now that it's gone everyone wants it back for some reason? Even if you haven't got any profit from it?
  12. Let's see if I got this right. You're an expert in digital marketing and advertising and you understand customer psychology, but you can't succeed in promoting your own service on a platform like Fiverr? And you're asking how to?
  13. I would personally just try to change and maybe improve some things on your existing gigs. Deleting them and making new ones sounds like a "plan" to trick Fiverr.
  14. I mean I do agree with breals. Many people already think that by somehow "exploiting" the forum they'll get more orders. I can't imagine a social media where everyone spam their gigs all day. If you think about it Fiverr is already setup like a social media platform, everyone got their gig out there. You can put tags, decide which category to be in and show off your work. I think the real problem is that people don't take Fiverr seriously.
  15. Use the forum to learn and share knowledge, there's tons of experienced sellers that give important tips. And only listen to the experienced ones, as many people just go around and spam the same nonsense tips. Mostly likely many of them don't even have 1 order or just joined Fiverr. Here's one of the many useful posts, made by experienced sellers:
  16. Do not delete your account, and neither your gig to make a new one. It's total nonsense, don't listen to the people that tells you to do so. I've also waited almost a full year to start getting some weekly messages and orders. Some people take Fiverr as a game, they try to exploit the site thinking it's just a game. Well that's not the right mindset to start a serious "business". It also depends in which industry you're working in, if you do logo designs (which probably is the most popular on Fiverr) it'll be harder to find the first orders. Here's one of the many useful materials you can find here on the Fiverr forum:
  17. Alright so what's blocking you from getting your gig promoted is the "quality metrics". Honestly I'm not quite sure what they mean by that, maybe you had some private bad reviews. I did see some posts on the forum about this in the past, but of course no one really knew what this quality level is really about.
  18. From: Fiverr Help - Promoted Gigs Does your profile fit in all of these? I see you only have 3 orders on that Gig.
  19. Since you're already here, use the forum. There's literally an entire section dedicated to tips for Sellers and Buyers. It's not a platform for getting orders or visibility, but for learning and sharing your experience. I see you made many posts regarding this, you can surely take some time and go ready many of the useful guides here on the forum.
  20. You have "fiver years+" of experience, you design business cards and then you ask what's the best between RGB and CMYK for a Fiverr gig image? Are you serious? I'm wondering what you're gonna deliver if a client places an order.. I'm not in power to judge anyone here and I don't go around criticizing people, but surely you can't be "disappointed" with Fiverr. As Mike said, dishonesty won't get you anywhere. Especially if you don't even know the BASICS of your own job.
  21. Well I wouldn't disagree with you. But you have been on Fiverr for less than a month, what do you expect?
