  1. Three simple but very powerful step in order to headstart your journey here: 1 - Get started with this shorty-but-goldy list: https://www.fiverr.com/support/articles/360010992257-Top-10-Tips-for-New-Fiverr-Sellers 2 - Then you can further explore the Fiverr Help Center 3 - Then you can dig the forums for precious intel (instead of asking a question that, trust me man, MANY have already asked before you, way too many 😵).
  2. @josh_oh if the buyer will ask for a time extension then it will simply add X days to the countdown, but revisions and delivery will work as usual. In the end they will be required to either accept or accept, because revisions cannot be used as they do, and time extension could trigger some CS reaction if they will ask for it multiple times. In any case you did everything you had to do to be on the righteous side. Unfortunately dishonest customers will always come across your path. One useful tip I can give you additionally is how to block a user you have not done business with yet. In case, while communicating before they place an order, you see too many red flags and want to prevent them from ordering one of your gigs, you will be able to block them from the Fiverr mobile app (from desktop you can block a buyer only if they already ordered from you). This trick helped me a TON of times.
  3. Yes, katakatica is correct, your message has been flagged mistakenly. You probably have an open order with the customer you mentioned but you never wrote through the Fiverr main inbox. You wrote them there as a "continutation" of your communication, but the Fiverr robot overlords thought you were simply spamming a complete stranger. You should not worry, but in any case, writing a ticket to CS explaining the situation will surely not hurt 🤷‍♂️
  4. Thank you for the percentage trick @uk1000! I still have no idea how I did not find it, there under my nose 😆 It still is a mystery though, for example my next clearing order was closed on July 28th at noon so logically, with a 7 days clearance, it should be cleared on August 4th at noon, but now (here is August 3rd, 10:47 in the morning) the progress bar is at 92.85%. Maybe I did something wrong but according to my calculations these data make no sense. I'm even more confused now than before 😵 The plot thickens...
  5. Hi josh_oh 👋 I have a straightforward solution, but first a little foreword. I really know the feeling of what is happening to you as I believe everyone faces this kind of buyer multiple times during their career. Although the "Spidey sense" of a freelancer are often correct, I suggest you to face the situation without any kind of bias so you will be sure to act 100% correctly (and therefore be able to ask for help to CS in case you needed any). First of all you should redeliver the order (attaching all of the things you need to attach) and tell the seller that revisions are not a tool "to buy time" (link them the TOS page if needed https://www.fiverr.com/support/articles/360010452657). Then you should also highlight the fact that, even if they paid for 3 revisions, you gave them 5, so 2 additional revision for free and they should be thankful for that (give this "gift" of yours as much value as you can when speaking to them). Of course do not write "you should be thankful", always avoid rudeness or the link, but make them understand this message with the correct roundabout expression. If they really need more time then they can ask for a time extension of the order directly to CS from the order page, that should be the correct procedure. In any case, you are free to deliver and ask them to either extend delivery time (in case it is time they need) or accept delivery, because as of now they are abusing the revision mechanics and therefore are not following Fiverr's rules. Of course all of this might be useless if they do not answer but in any case, after writing them all of that 👆 if they still do not answer for a couple of days, you can go to CS asking for help and they will see that, even if the customer ignored you, you gave them all of the intel and tools they needed in order to act correctly, so there will be no more excuses.
  6. Yes, you are correct, I forgot to mention it. I have tried waiting for the exact time of the order completion, but the funds did not get cleared exactly 7 days later (that is my clearance time). Instead, they got cleared 7 days + 2 hours after the order completion 🤔 Also, from what I've seen in the "inspect" section, there is no percentage that could help track the bar progress, or at least I did not find it 😔
  7. BIG DISCLAIMER: This topic was created out of curiosity but I believe (and hope) might also help some of you out there. I was browsing the Earnings tab of my profile and noticed, I SWEAR, for the FIRST TIME since I started here (spoiler: more than two years ago) an odd Fiverr UI feature. 🤔 The "loading bar" underlying the CLEARING box, does not grow only according to the date of clearance, but probably also according to the exact time of clearance.🕵️‍♂️ Why that? Elementary Watson, because funds that are going to be cleared on the same date have bars of different lenght! MINDBLOWING 🤯 guys, I am not joking, I don't know why. I know this is a small thing, but it gave me quite the "Eureka moment". So... knowing this question might sound silly, I tried and looked to find the answer on my own, even using that F-11, developing, hacker mojo, hoodoo-mode, but alas, I am no rocket scientist so I could not find anything 🤷‍♂️ You forum people are my last resort to find the solution of the riddle haunting me in my sleep... So here come the big-question-that-is-actually-quite-clear-from-the-title-but-I-want-to-make-it-100%-clear: Since it seems, from a UI point of view, that the exact time of Fund Clearing is already known to "the machines", is there a way for us humans to know it as well?
  8. So in this case, if you use the Payo-wise trick you would get a +5%-ish in your pocket. But I wonder how (and IF) this percentage grows/decreases when the amount you withdraw grows/decreases. Because as @cc_animation puts it yes, for 20€ it is not worth the hassle, but when you talk about the 5% of thousands... well, that would be a completely different scenario, especially for countries with a neolitic tax system like mine that do not allow yet to deduct all of your costs, especially when speaking of online business 🤔
  9. The first one really shows off your skills, but the second one is sleeker and way more modern-looking. This really is a dilemma! 🤔
  10. I personally prefer winter, but it really depends on the country you live in. I live in Italy and we span from 40° in Summer to below 0° in Winter (all in Celsius of course). For example my sister-in-law is Australian and says she always said she loves winter as well, but simply because she always lived the Australian """""winter""""" (in case you didn't notice COMPLETELY DIPPED IN QUOTES). The day she experienced the Italian winter she rapidly changed her mind about the season 😂
  11. I believe we are living at the end of a bridge era that moved the balance from one to the other. In the past (namely 20th century) education, especially advanced education, was a privilege available only for the most affluent. A slow change tipped the balance towards the world we live in nowadays: education is somehting (even if not available to everyone) widespread if compared to 100 years ago, so the more distinguishing "trait" might have become the experience, especially in highly competitive markets. The question @frank_d raised is also quite relevant, because the original topic didn't factor in soft skills, that really have a role in everyone's career (and life). But at the end of the day it really depends on your field, country, personality (and the list could go on forever)... So maybe there is not a really correct answer.
  12. You forgot to tell @the_c0ttage the fourth, quintessential tip: pick your forum section wisely 😏
  13. Hi there @nouman_riaz2 from what I can see your gig does not have any big issue. The low click-though rate might be to some unappealing feature your gig picture has. You should test new gig pictures (just for the one that customer see when brosing gigs) by A/B testing new small tweaks: - First I'd try with putting less info so to make text more readable (remember that customer see a small preview of the pictures) - Second I would try with different colours (see which predominant palette have the most clicked gigs of your competitors) - A third try, if the first two won't work, would be to do a new gig picture from scratch, always following the tips Fiverr gives to sellers (https://www.fiverr.com/support/articles/4410883326481-Gig-image-guidelines-Making-the-most-of-your-Gig-image?context_referrer=content_landing_page&source_type=link&article=gig-images&text=Gig Image Guidelines) Last but not the least the greatest tip I can give you is to be patient, changes and tweaks may require time to be effective or maybe your actual gig picture is good but it is a time of the year when your kind of service does not sell as much as in other months (I am not saying this is the case, but looking at the bigger picture literally anything might be the direct cause of a low-click thorugh rate).
  14. Is there a question hidden somewhere or was just a shy attempt at showing off your promoted gigs page? 😁
  15. This is one of those story that make my eyes twinkle while I read them. Reading those words about the leap of faith, the transition from employed to freelancer. Everything reminds me my own experience and gives me a bit of feels 🤩 Congratz man, now that' you're part of the club I wish you the best for your career in (and even outside, why not!) of Fiverr!
  16. It is really relieving hearing this even from a mod. I believe this is one of the best and most requested features in the whole history of Fiverr.
  17. 🤷‍♂️ (Un)fortunately I use the official version and I pay 30€ per month in order to have the full Adobe Creative Suite. If you are working with these softwares and you are earning from your work I'd suggest you to do this not only because of the obvious reasons, but also because the original versions are way more stable than cracked ones. 🙄 In the past I might have used some not-so-original versions, and I can tell you those are really a pain in the arse when talking about rendering and exporting (bugs, lags, scrumbled ,media and so on).
  18. 🤔 Outsourcing can be a good or a bad idea depending on WHAT are you actually outsourcing and HOW MUCH you are actually outsourcing. Any company will face the time, sooner or later, when it needs to outsource part of the required task, temporarily to handle a busy period, or permanently when starting a cooperation with another company. 📽️ When talking about video editing I cannot imagine what could you possibly refer to... Could you please explain what would you do by yourself and what would you outsource? And how would you outsource it? To who?
  19. 👶 In my early days a videomaker I used a lot Sony Vegas Pro (can't recall if was 8 or 9), but now I am completely converted to Adobe. 🤔 As many users I really dislike their policies on customer support and pricing, but... 📽️ If you can really use Premiere Pro and After Effects those two pals can really make anything possible.

  21. I guess you are a copywriter here on Fiverr but if you still are not well, you should start doing it ASAP. This post explains something so difficult to understand for many in just a "few" lines, and it really is a pleasure to read. If I could put a thousand likes on it, then I'd do it immediately ❤️
  22. Congratulations man! That is really great, and as a special congratz gift for you I will give you a suggestion: correct the typo you have under your nickname on your profile page! (Comapny instead of Company) 😁
  23. Congratulations man, I wish you even more order and an even brighter future! Ad maiora! 👍
  24. In your shoes I'd start enhancing your gig description. That really looks like keyword stuffing and is really redundant. It does not look professional, and also, Fiverr's algorithm is smarter than you think so I don't believe it likes keyword stuffing. My two cents on gig descriptions are: What are your skills/past experiences. Why choosing you over your competitors. Explain what are you offering, and a plus would be adding something unique to your offer.
  25. You can even have one MILLION impressions, but if your gig picture is not captivating enough you won't have a high click-though rate (turning an impression into a click). For example my best performing gig has a great picture (3 clicks per 100 impressions), but I know I have a gig whose picture sucks, and it has quite a bad click-through rate indeed (0 clicks even if it had some hundreds of impressions). Your next task will be enhancing the conversion rate (turning clicks into orders), otherwise getting customers to click on your gig won't earn you one pence. For that task you will need to have an even more captivating gig description who should tell customers: What are your skills/past experiences. Why choosing you over your competitors. Explain what are you offering, and a plus would be adding something unique to your offer.
