  1. @fahadtech I agree. On desktop, it's a complete verification process. But on mobile app, there is no verification process, just a few clicks and account gone forever. On my post I mentioned above, there was also a seller who was talking about the account hack there. And now this another seller posted about this issue. Fiverr should remove this option from mobile app or make it a complete verification process.
  2. Hey, I posted something related to it a few weeks ago. There is a 'Delete Account' option in the Mobile App. On desktop, you can only 'deactivate' the account and reactivate it by talking to customer support. But if you want to permanently delete from desktop, you have to ask customer support and provide them all information. But on mobile app, there is both 'deactivate' and 'delete' options available. A user can permanently delete his/her account without any customer support process. And it will not reactivate. So yeah, what if someone accidentally delete his/her account or someone got hack you? It's dangerous for sellers, specially high level sellers. Fiverr should remove this option from app asap. Here is my post:
  3. Of course, kids can or even we can deactivate account by some accidental clicks. But "deactivate" account is not an issue. Just you have to write a text "Please reactivate my account" and send it to customer support email address and they will immediately reactivate your account. But kids can't "permanently" delete account from desktop because it need customer support request and verification process. But on mobile app, they have made it direct "permanently" delete the account option without any customer support or verification process. That's not just kids but user can also unintentionally or accidentally delete and it's clearly stated that "Once you permanently delete you account you will NOT be able to reactivate it and the process cannot be reversed." As you also mentioned a hacker recently tried to shut down your account but luckily it was just "deactivated" and you got it back. What if some hackers now try to log in through app and there is "permanent" delete option available for them. Fiverr should remove this option from mobile app.
  4. I think on mobile app, there should also be a customer support request and verification process before deleting a user account. What if a user unintentionally or accidentally delete the account permanently from mobile app?
  5. No. Because it can permanently delete user account. On desktop, user have to request customer support for such process, but on App, it can directly get deleted.
  6. Hey Community! As per new Android and IOS app updates, now you can deactivate or permanently delete your account from mobile. Profile icon > Settings Account > Account management 1. Deactivation: This can be done through both desktop and mobile app now. Can be reactivated again talking to the customer support. 2. Deletion: It will permanently delete your account and will not reactivate again. On Desktop: You have to request customer support to permanently delete your account. They will ask for some verification. But on App: You can directly delete your account permanently, without customer support and verification process. It will not reactivate again. What's your feedback on this new update?
  7. Before, when an order completes, the "Completed Order Payments" achievement was counted just after the order completion. For example, if your "Completed Order Payments" is $18,000 and you just completed an order of $300, the achievement will show $18,300 / $20,000. But from January 2023, orders with cleared funds will count that amount. For example, if your "Completed Order Payments" is $18,000 and you just completed an order of $300, it will still show $18,000 / $20,000, but after 14 days of clearance of that $300 order, it will show $18,300 / $20,000.
  8. Hi Community! I received 2 notifications today related to my 2 'Custom Websites' category gigs: "Action Required! Increase your visibility by completing your Gig information." When I clicked the notification, it took me to the edit gig page on the 'pricing' section, where It was written this: I was offering basic price of $60 on one of my gig and $70 on the other gig before. But it saying to keep minimum of $80 or it will receive less exposure so I set $80 starter price for both of my gigs. Secondly, It was saying to check a checkbox 'Functional Website' and change the Metadata like Website type, website features etc. These selections wasn't before there on custom website category gig edit page. So if filled those required fields and submit my updates to the gig. Third thing I noticed, my gig is not now on the search page. I know when submitting an update to a gig, it goes to some reviewing process, so it will back to the search page again after some time. Another thing I noticed that the 'Add Subscription' function is removed from both of my gigs. Well I already don't provide subscriptions on any of my gigs, but this option is removed. Do someone has received the same thing? Any suggestions? I filled everything required and suggested. The only thing I don't want is the gig to de rank.
