  1. Exactly what I am thinking, deleting would have an immediate impact.
  2. I have been suggested by someone that the main reason for this success scoring system is to avoid buyers creating new gigs out of repeat clients and then using those new gigs for new clients eventually because the first point of contact/impression for a click is the gig's thumbnail, description and rating(review count). Your case is making sense in this regard, how many unique buyers are there on this gig who haven't ordered from you in the past? I believe zero because all of them are repeat buyers. If that's the case then why is there "Unique clients" as a separate metric in level evaluation, only fiverr can answer. You are right but I believe an offset addition would be added to that formula to balance out the number of buyers for each level in each category. Or alternatively, they can lower the cutoff levels for the levels, both are the same.
  3. They say that they weigh average gig scores by gig orders but I have only one gig and its individual score is different from my overall success score. How?
  4. This message in the screenshot, who sent it? You or the buyer?
  5. In all fairness, those words from the buyer must be reported as blackmail but I am sorry to hear that your experience with support made you say it.
  6. Every good platform provides this option —as part of the user's right to privacy— to permanently delete the account and not keep any info after that. But what's strange here is that you can do it on a mobile app without any 2-step or 3-step verification. I mean they can email and text to confirm. It's crazy to imagine and fiverr must correct this feature.
  7. This one's like a bet, I have had some really good feedback/replies from CS and some really poor ones. It's just like how we reply to new buyers on their queries, sometimes we take a lot of time chatting with a potential buyer and go into a lot of detail with passion, and sometimes not so much. Depends on the agents as well. After an order has been canceled, the buyer can leave a review. How? This is indeed a tough thing to decide. I would say it is about work discipline. Just like a subscription is canceled after a buyer fails to resubscribe even though sometimes there is no running cost for the seller to keep the subscription, similarly you can decide whether you should pull the plug on this one.
  8. Surprisingly, its a first for me, happening rn, hope its not a month lol.
  9. You have me thinking whether I should too. Question: Do you have a zoom subscription ? Question: What % of your orders require meeting ?
  10. Well, what I do is that I give buyers an indication of a potential meeting while staying within Fiverr's ToS. Something like, "and also we can always solve the complications and remove the confusions in a detailed one on one meeting during development" and most of the clients are like "what ? can we do it now ?" then I always say this "yes we can but I don't think I can share any details relating to extra-fiverr communication", sometimes they understand it and sometimes they don't but it doesn't matter because that is quickly followed by the next message "but you are the buyer I am not sure this applies to you, better check it". And that my friends is mostly followed by a zoom meeting link etc though I have to admit sometimes the convo got very awkward and I had to start the meeting by saying "sorry about earlier for being awkward" lol. At the end of the day you are not responsible for buyer's action and you are not supposed to fully understand buyer's agreement, I still don't know. But as a professional I know better not to violate any of seller's terms.
  11. Yes but In my kind of work this affect timeline, charges and last but not the least comfort. Wow, are you sure ? I am confused, doesn't it affect Fiverr QoS ? How ? Yes like I said NOT ALLOWED
  12. Hi, sorry to hear that. Lets look at how sellers get orders, Buyers search keywords like SEO and see gigs, very naturally they would see a good mix of top and average gigs and very less gigs with zero orders. Naturally they would engage with gigs on the first page and sometimes the second before opening order. So you have to be roughly in that 20-40 gig range. Now remember gigs with zero orders do show but depending on Fiverr algo based on your online status, your response rate etc. Important thing to understand is that even with the algo you might never show because the market maybe too saturated to show your zero order gig among hundred others. Fortunately, Fiverr looks out for those as well. By offering buyer requests list which is a great way to get your first order like I did. And then if you play your cards right, you may never have to see buyer requests again. There are some other non technical things like the quality of gig and common mistakes etc like Insta marketing gig should be grammatically correct etc. But I don't know much about that.
  13. Because in some cases they cannot have a live zoom meeting and explain some details that directly effect the work and also help seller speed up the work. Instead they would rather communicate over text as a middle man between the actual client and the developer, now imagine the work performance in this case. I understand, but I am not talking about a guy outsourcing shirt design on behalf of his team. I am talking about people picking up a job from fiverr and then getting it done on fiverr kind of scenario. Tell me about it ! I have had at least three orders cancelled by CS on buyer's request just because I skipped some minor detail that I would happily offer my past clients even after order completion. And also that too, very conveniently just after the buyer asked me to redeliver with the source code. Interesting right. Let me tell you something more interesting, one buyer's country changed mid order. I asked, they denied and then agreed. I explained the whole thing to support, they agreed but still declined to reverse cancellation rate, I kinda asked again, they gave a very important advise that if there is still time remaining in order then they take seller's side and give time before any action else if its delivered but late then the buyer has the advantage because they cannot afford late. Trust me when I say my reasons were purely professional, this cost me my level on two separate occasions.
