  1. 100 impressions per day is a good goal to reach, means 700 per week. But consider that top sellers have thousands of impressions per week to be contacted daily by leads. And yes it's a long journey. As I said often, freelancing must be included in a professional path, where you have an outstanding portfolio and resume, experience, skills and know how. Checking "what's trending this year in the jobs" and then "trying" to see if you can get an order, doesn't work. It's useless and senseless. Create a career, that's my suggestion.
  2. indeed, descriptions and keywords are important. But if you have low ratings o you have done just a couple of orders, you'll never appear in the charts. I suggest new sellers to just focus on improving their skills for many many months and advertise their talent (in the ways accepted by Fiverr). That's all. Then go back to the stats in a few months and see if anything has changed. But if you have no orders, you won't be in the charts.
  3. before doing wrong choices, please read first what kind of advertising Fiverr accepts. marketing can be very confusing, 90% of the time you can just improve your portfolio to attract the customers. your demos clearly show what you can do and are the best way to describe your skills.
  4. I think the best way to find the right seller for you is studying their demos. a portfolio gives all the details you need to understand if that's the right choice or not. said that, competition is impressive, I understand new sellers have problems but they need to study and improve the most they can. said that there is also another issue, which is: Fiverr is not a beginners tool. it's to be considered in a career path, of a skilled professional.
  5. well, yes, it's a procedure/indication/suggestion on how should work, not a promise of anything. In any ways, one or two or three orders don't change anything. first months are very complex since you need to full time dedicate to your freelancing career and improve the most you can. You'll begin to receive the fruits after few months and many many orders.
  6. briefs are not bad. the idea is good, it must just be improved and fine tuned, that's all.
  7. huge competition. one order is not enough. There are too many freelancers, and many are good, so you need to be exceptional to stand out. I suggest to advertise your talent (in the ways accepted by Fiverr) and improve your skills.
  8. unfortunately first days are very difficult since there is a huge competition. only the best ones appear in the charts. I suggest to focus on improving your profile and GIGs the most you can and advertise your skills (in the ways accepted by Fiverr).
  9. I suggest to use Promoted Gigs. They are very useful. Yes they cost at the same time, but all good things have a cost. Please check also my Tips from a Top Rated Seller - Tip 1 | Tip 2 | Tip 3 | Tip 4 | Tip 5 | Tip 6
  10. Absolutely, I think that Fiverr customer support will explain what happened. In any case, I believe you are not in the rankings because competitors are doing better. Means stats! means your customers are not happy of your work and you need to work hard to improve the service and attract more customers. 11. I agree, bad reviews are really bad. A lot better a cancellation. After a cancellation you indeed need to focus to have a lot more jobs, but a bad review is very negative. If you believe in your job and your talent, I suggest cancel, and then focus on improving your service to attract more customers. 12. Very nice topic! Ok, initially I've chosen Fiverr because it was the most known platform and useful as well, for music producers. But after few months I understood the potential, huge potential. Also I understood the team behind it is working day and night to improve, till perfection! I can say that right now as it is today, it's really near to perfection. I just want the "Audio Watermarks" for audio material in chats & deliveries. After that it would be 100% perfect for me 🙂 Please check also my Tips from a Top Rated Seller - Tip 1 | Tip 2 | Tip 3 | Tip 4 | Tip 5 | Tip 6
  13. I'm very sorry to hear that, probably you need to focus more on demos, portfolio. It is a lot useful to attract new customers! 🙂 Please check also my Tips from a Top Rated Seller - Tip 1 | Tip 2 | Tip 3 | Tip 4 | Tip 5 | Tip 6
  14. Why don't you use Promoted Gigs? it is very useful. It probably works a lot better of any advertisiment service you could imagine! 🙂 Please check also my Tips from a Top Rated Seller - Tip 1 | Tip 2 | Tip 3 | Tip 4 | Tip 5 | Tip 6
  15. I have discussed with executives as well, and also at round tables, but the platform improves month after month. This is what I care 🙂 I think anything is going well.
  16. Frank, from my point of view, the mechanism works. Also, you are a veteran seller so you know Fiverr works constantly to improve. I trust 100% their vision. You should as well 🙂 did you talk with all of this with your Success Manager?
  17. well, the difference between me and you is that I see the glass half full 😉 don't worry about all those things.
  18. if you are on Seller Plus you know Buyer Requests are an improved feature. I don't know the future plans for it. At the moment Fiverr is pushing on this, because it's useful both for customers and for sellers. We'll see in the future, but Buyer Requests (at the moment) are useful.
  19. I read often about "how to reply to buyer requests". And there are posts with lists of tricks, ideas and suggestions. All wrong of course 😄 Honestly, consider two things: you are a professional, or you are not. if you are a professional you have a work experience, skills, recommendations. You have a portfolio with cool stuff that explain your skills and talent. Portfolio is important because it's your passport. In multimedia you know how to do something or you don't. You don't need academical awards. So the Portfolio is even more important than the resume, and also it's a way to earn trust. You are not selling fake things. You create music, images or other things? If you know how to create and you show it, there's nothing "fake" in this. You have a talent, you show it, and you are paid to use it. So, WHY ARE YOU FOLLOWING SUGGESTIONS to use "tricks" to win the buyer requests?!? You have a talent, so just be yourself! Show your portfolio! Show what you can do! When replying to Buyer Requests just explain what you can do, your strongest skills, why you are the best candidate. Ask the customer to read your profile, and to check your GIGs. In this case, study my previous posts to improve your GIGs: Tips from a Top Rated Seller - Tip 1 | Tip 2 | Tip 3 | Tip 4 | Tip 5 | Tip 6
  20. ah about sleeping for few hours... I found some info (don't know if it's true) that submarine sailors sleep just 4 hours, then work for 4 hours, then find the "hot bed" (since there is the same bed for many of them), sleep and again work etc etc. Do you know if it's true or not?
  21. many thanks! yes, relationships are the basis. I think that from good relationships come the best projects and ideas.
  22. Yes, Cubase and Wavelab are awesome. It's hard to beat them, not just for the functions, or the brand. The final quality of the works in impressive compared to other softwares.
  23. M1 is also a wonderful workstation from Korg. It was about in the 80s. My first important music workstation.
  24. let's not forget branding, all your multimedia material should have similar style and same brand.
  25. yes, exactly, the items in my title are 10. You can calculate all combinations and permutations if you want. there are useless combinations, I mean, that have very low traffic, but if you get the words combination with high traffic you can change the result, if your GIG will be successful or not. of course, this is just to get people to your GIG, then how you show your GIG and the goodness of your demos will make the conversions. I will talk about branding and more tips in my next posts
