  1. Your last review says your service is "a total rip-off" and a waste of money. I think that's harming your business far more than bad luck.
  2. Familiarise yourself with the terms of service. Legitimate buyers won't ask you to break the rules (or will understand why you can't do something once you've explained it's against the rules). At the moment, your only gig is for translations, so you don't need to do this.
  3. And that review said late deliveries were fairly common, so those could possibly be a factor, too.
  4. People use auto-refreshers to do that, but Fiverr staff have they aren't allowed.
  5. I don't always have time to attend Fiverr webinars, so I enjoy short-form content like this. Thank you for sharing.
  6. After one message. Reply to the next three early and your response time will be down to a more normal amount. Anyway, to answer your initial question, you can't set your hours or prevent people from messaging you at certain times. You just have to be available fairly regularly (in a healthy way) and allow your stats to even themselves out over time. You'll get some messages while sleeping. You'll get some while you're awake. Overall, you'll probably end up with a response time of 1-4 hours, depending on where most of your customers are from. You can create a new account if you want, but it's extra work, and a similar thing could happen again.
  7. You're new to selling, so don't worry too much about it at the moment. Stats even themselves out over time. You'll get a few messages, for example, that you'll be able to reply to quickly, and your number will come down.
  8. They'll ask you to do something that's against Fiverr's terms of service.
  9. That's great! You'll find the badge automatically appears on your account. You don't have to do anything. Keep in mind, though, that you'll get it only if your stats are green on the day of the evaluation, so make sure that inbox response rate doesn't slip below 90% next week. 🙂
  10. Unless you find a new line of work, you won't be able to help anyone on Fiverr. Doing academic work for students is against the site's terms of service.
  11. Oh ok. There were a few serious jobs on there. I'm sure your brother got a few jobs from it. But there were lots of buyers who wanted sellers to do LOTS of work for very little money. I think the reason lots of buyers used the feature was because they couldn't find sellers to work for that little on the main site. Sometimes I'd see buyers who wanted sellers to write 1000s words in less than 24 hours for $5.
  12. You joined last month, so you probably don't know how bad the buyer requests feature was at times. Exploitative is an understatement.
  13. They might have been scammers, who were banned by Fiverr. These scammers target everyone, but especially newbies. They try to get sellers to communicate elsewhere or do large amounts of work without an upfront order.
  14. You could tweak the size a little more so all the text fits into the box, but it's much better than before!
  15. They look fine when I open your gigs, but on your profile page, they're cut off.
  16. Your images are definitely more eye-catching than the last ones. You need to resize them, though. A chunk of the text is cut off. 🙂
  17. I think you could improve your images. Your smiling face looks great, very friendly, but your text isn't easy to read. Most buyers will overlook it when scrolling through the search results. I think you could also improve the focus of your profile description. At the moment, the important first and last parts of the description talk about cybersecurity, but you don't have any gigs related to that.
  18. Some people on Fiverr create physical items, but the vast majority create digital items. To deliver a digital item, like an article or photograph, you have to upload your file to a special order page so your buyer can download it. Fiverr will create that special page for you when somebody orders from you.
  19. Hi Josephine, welcome to the forum. Good luck with your future writing gigs!
  20. AI is giving people more choices. It's allowing people to do more and more jobs themselves. ChatGPT, for example, makes it easier to research and write. The new AI features in the Microsoft tools make it easier to do data entry work. Life is only going to get harder for certain sellers. Currently, one of the main ways a seller can fight back against AI is to make buyers believe it's easier to work with them than use machines. At the moment, I don't think you're doing that. Parts of your gig description are almost incomprehensible. A number of buyers aren't going to want to deal with the potential language barrier. They'll go to another seller or use other tools.
  21. It's not my favourite quote, but I think this one is relevant for many on the forum who wonder why their gigs aren't selling. "When you've got 10,000 people trying to do the same thing, why would you want to be number 10,001?" ~ Mark Cuban

  24. Hi Franceso, these are common scams. If you follow the Terms of Service and do all business through the Fiverr site, you'll be much safer.
  25. There have been Fiverr millionaires, but I'm not sure exactly how many. One was in the news a few years ago. https://www.cnbc.com/2018/04/24/how-this-dad-made-almost-1-million-on-fiverr.html
