  1. It’s not really sensible for people to use this thread to name their preferred sites or communities for promotion. Imagine a logo designer coming into this thread and saying, “I get orders by promoting myself on XYZ forum and in XYZ Facebook group.” Those places would be full of spammers before the day is done.
  2. Click your profile pic in the top right. Then click on your username. Then go to “preferences”. Then select “users”. You’ll have the option to add people to your ignore list.
  3. You’re welcome! Good luck. Everybody occasionally gets reviews that aren’t 5*, so don’t sweat it too much. 🙂
  4. Yep, it was changed around 18 months ago. In the past, buyers could edit feedback, and sellers could ask about their scores freely. Now, it’s all different. Feedback can’t be edited, and as Catwriter said, sellers can get a strike against their accounts just for talking about feedback with a buyer. Are you trying to get the 4.7* score changed? If so, it’s best not to. That’s a good score, and only bad things will happen if you try to change it.
  5. Miss Crystal already answered that question. There is no way for your buyer to change the feedback they left. Once feedback goes live, it’s live forever, unless it violates the TOS (for example, it’s racist).
  6. No. Users are allowed to share contact details only if they’re required to complete a job. For example, a seller would need a buyer’s Facebook log-in details if managing their account. Fiverr doesn’t allow us to exchange personal details for the sake of convenience.
  7. I’m afraid that review will never be removed. It’s there for as long as you remain on Fiverr. The notification system isn’t perfect. Other sellers have complained about it, too. You’ll have to keep a closer eye on your account in future. You could also experiment with the Fiverr app and/or email notifications.
  8. I won’t just wish you luck. I’ll wish you the very, very best of luck. Go get 'em!
  9. Um… excuse me? 😉 I’m only teasing! I agree with you. I intend to get rid of my logo pic for a head shot very soon. Your current picture is nice, reserchers_team. You look happy and friendly. You can swap your current pic for a relevant logo pic if you want, but I think you’ll be downgrading. Just my $0.02.
  10. Canada? That’s awesome! Some respite from the sweltering summer heat, eh? 😉 I’ve been to the U.K. in the summer (Birmingham, West Midlands and London, to be exact), and I know that it can get pretty hot and boiling there. 😉 I had gone on a two month long trip to Thailand last summer, and it was frickin awesome! Although I was there for two whole months, I had so much fun that it felt like I was in Thailand for only a week. It was a blur of midnight walks along the beach, crazy parties, and conversations well into the wee hours of the morning. The weather was perfect; the rich natural beauty was scenic and breathtaking. Since my Thailand trip obviously cost a pretty penny, I am currently saving up some dough so that I can plan another trip this fall/autumn. I have my eyes trained on Cyprus this time around. Although, I’ve already been to Greece a few times, this will be my first time in Cyprus. Imo, everything that has been discussed so far has been relevant to what’s mentioned in the original post. Sub-categories such as user introductions/conversations have more lax rules. It is perfectly okay to talk about what you did last summer/plan on doing this summer on a thread that’s in the conversations/user introductions sub-category; other sub-categories such as My Fiverr gigs or Fiverr stories may not be the best sub-category to talk about stuff that’s not Fiverr-related. 🙂 (Mods, please correct me if I am wrong 😉 ). It is all about context and the category/sub-category to which the post belongs. 🙂 While you’re welcome to talk about stuff that’s going on in your private life in posts under certain “fun” sub-categories, the same might be frowned upon in other “serious” sub-categories. This distinction might not be very obvious at first sight. You will get better at it as you spend more time on the forum. 🙂 It’s scorching in London today. According to the BBC’s weather app, temps have hit 34 degrees. Feels even hotter, though, because so much of the city is built up. That sounds amazing! My sister recently got back from Thailand. She loved it. She didn’t sell the place as well as you though! Although, maybe she just didn’t want to tell her big brother about the wild parties she attended. 😉
  11. Hello, I’ve eaten your good friend, and now I’m coming to eat you. Best wishes The Bear xxx
  12. Fair enough. I’m glad the issue is resolved, anyway. The forum also allows us to mute threads and sections, which is also pretty useful. I do that now and again. But you probably won’t need to do it now you know how to mute users.
  13. Out of interest, why do you think these people are scammers? Is it because you feel they post only to boost their exposure, rather than to provide value to the community? I’ll admit, there are people on this forum who grate on me a little, but there isn’t any regular poster I’d consider a scammer.
  14. And stay there this time! Only kidding. 🙂 I may have dreamt this, but I do kind of recall somebody having 90-100% domination
  15. When did you create your new Gig? Sometimes it can take a day or two before new Gigs are established in the system.
  16. I had the same problem. I tried to associate my Facebook account using a different device. That works for some people, but didn’t work for me. I contacted Support and they were able to help me.
  17. It’s difficult to know why your Gig was denied. Sometimes Fiverr bots discover problematic Gigs. Sometimes other sites report Gigs. Sometimes other sellers report Gigs. Most ad sites don’t allow third parties to post ads on their platforms. That’s why your Gig has been removed. Fiverr believes you’re breaking the rules of that particular site. The Terms of Service will tell you what’s allowed on Fiverr and what isn’t.
  18. What Gigs were you offering? Did they have anything to do with social media or review sites? Unfortunately, if Fiverr has said it doesn’t like your Gigs, there’s not much you can do. Offer something new, or your account will be at risk. The Terms of Service should tell you more about the services Fiverr doesn’t allow. I know your denied Gigs had been up for a while, but that doesn’t mean very much. All it means is it took a while for Fiverr to spot them.
  19. One benefit is it makes you look more professional. Anybody can say they’re an expert. Those who have done well on the tests have proven their ability.
  20. It’s displayed on your profile already. Turns out you’re in the top 10%. Congrats. 🙂
