    I am not sure what happened. But I sent you a message wherein I said I see you visited my profile. I guessed you were checking to see if I had visited the forum lately. I do not come here as often as I once did.

    In my earlier post, I mentioned the m-word that means shepherd of the forum. Perhaps that is why my message disappeared. I was saying I missed the forum days when people like Writer, Gigfreak, Woofy, and Maddie were active.

    Hopefully, no one will delete this message.

      At first, I thought these things are kind of a diary for yourself, for posting "Today, I had fish & chips for dinner at Joey's at 9", so you can look it up if you have to present an alibi to some DI some day, or "Today, I made my 34th sale" if you don't want to shout it from the rooftops but have a running account for yourself, and where you can check if your forum pals are still alive if they care to let others know. Didn't even realize you can comment on other people's status updates, walls, feeds, or whatever it is, but I guess it's a useful place to converse without scrolling through conga rats, that's right.

      Hmm... I may have to focus more on the "status update" notifications... I wish there was more notification fine-tuning. Often, when I check the forum there are so many notifications that I just click on the first few ones, and that's it.

      I also just realized that it would be useful if you could sort your "Follower List" in people you follow back and don't, for an easy short list access to people you might want to check up on from time to time. Most followers, I have no idea who they are. 

      I fear I've never really warmed up to this forum, it's a bit much in several ways. Oh, the good old simple times! ... :can't find an emoji of an old lady with white hair and brandishing her walking cane in disgust, but imagine one here: I also miss the option of not searching in the emoji list, but to type :whatever: and it magically appeared, as long as you could remember or guess its name! 😄

      By the way, @vickiespencer, I haven't used these "status update" pages much, and noticed that somehow none of my posts get sent when I press "Submit Reply", but do then show up, once I refresh the page, just in case that's what happened to your other post.

       

      ETA: And, of course, this post went through immediately... LOL but the others before it not, but, in any case, or even more so then, maybe your post fell victim to this... fluke bug.

    Okay Troops, 

    I got tired of seeing 3 and 4 pages of my notifications filled by the badge chaser's likes. So I changed my notifications so that I only see when users react to threads I have taken part in. 

    Ahh, my headache is getting better already!  🤕   😆

    I need to let the new forum, rules, and direction sink in a bit now, can't quite get my head around some things.

    Also, 1st Covid shot this evening, Moderna ("order from above, today Moderna, better than nothing", to quote the reassuring staff reply to someone complaining, who apparently wasn't happy with that), so I'll better grant myself more rest anyway, to let my body deal with it. Not feeling too bad so far, though, can't complain, especially after seeing the guy in front of me collapse a few minutes after his jab, that wasn't fun, I hope he's fine now, and I'm glad I could walk out of the vaccination centre and to the underground on my own legs.

    Anyway, stay or get healthy, everyone, and post away, I'm curious to see who gets the shiny highest forum badge first. My hopes are for one The Force is strong with, but the Raiders of the Lost Badge are not to be underestimated.

      It seems so. Alright, if they don't want me to help you with my super secret tips regarding G M since it obviously wasn't 24/7 and 10/10 as they didn't hide my message above, I'll share another worthy tip that definitely can't contain a trigger word: Be patient.

    Finally moving house tomorrow. 

    I had my busiest month ever last month and am still trying to finish off a few orders. Had to just pause all gigs to allow me to get some free time to move. It has been a week of 12-14 hour days and early starts. Gonna take a few days now to move and settle in I think before getting back to work.

    Got vaccinated today.

    Was fine, feel a bit of pain and extremely tired but otherwise I am
