I usually just say "Hi there, " and then follow up with whatever it is I’ll be writing next

To me, politeness is the key.
Sometimes I start with answer to any questions the requester may have asked in the request (eg. Can someone do… are you going to do… or any questions raised in the request)
If no question was asked in the request, I will start by formal greetings (like Good day, Hi, or Hello)

I’m still new here, and I’m learning everyday. I think I have gotten another way of approaching prospective buyers from this post.
