Bangladesh government has shut down internet services across the country to quell the movement of students agitating for Bangladesh's quota. All the freelancers of Bangladesh are in danger. What can be done for such a national problem so that it does not affect the account of freelancers in Bangladesh. thank you

Hi taronbd,

Thank you for raising this important concern. The current internet shutdown in Bangladesh is indeed a challenging situation for all freelancers, including those of us on Fiverr.

Fortunately, Fiverr has already taken steps to address this issue. They sent an email acknowledging the disruption and detailing the measures they are taking to support us. Here’s the key information from their message:

- Fiverr is aware of the internet disruptions and hopes everyone is safe.
- To prevent any negative impact on your ratings due to unexpected order delays, Fiverr is temporarily setting your Gig as “unavailable.” This action will not negatively affect your ratings.
- If you do have access to the internet and can fulfill new orders, you can simply turn your availability back on. Fiverr has provided instructions on how to do this.
- For any currently open orders that you cannot fulfill due to the lack of connectivity, Fiverr will ensure that these do not impact your performance on the platform.

If you have any questions or need further assistance, Fiverr’s support team is available to help. You can reach out to them directly through the provided link in their email.

Stay safe, and hopefully, this situation will be resolved soon.

Best regards,
S. Mukta

How you created this thread, if network is down ?

Normally our government disable net only on dangerous occasions

and even just signals, rest wired networks are allowed to work

issue like yours country, our government would have just turn off social media

All the freelancers in recently Bangladesh are suffering from internet problems, I am one of them. In the quota version movement in this country, some people shut down the Internet to avoid misinformation in all kinds of social platforms, but now the Internet has started, but even then the current Internet speed is so slow that it is not good for a freelancer.

In such a situation, many talented freelancers are losing their profile rank and are unable to deliver orders on time. Similarly, I am also deprived of gig impressions and clicks due to the lack of internet for the last 6-7 days and I don't know if I can go back to the previous position with any kind of effort.

To all Fiverr clients please refrain from canceling orders and extend delivery time if possible. Stay with us in the long run, it will all be fine in a few days.
Thank you!
