Seems like the end!!

Hi, Fellow Freelancers and Fiverr team,

I have been relying solely on Fiverr for my income as a freelancer and I am grateful for the support I received from the platform to grow from nothing to Level 1. I have worked hard to achieve that level and was planning on becoming a Level 2 seller soon. It was a huge shock to me when I saw my account flagged, and I am extremely worried as Fiverr was my only source of income.

Fiverr suddenly flagged my account, this also disabled any perks that I had with my account level. The initial customer support ticket that I created had the response below "Your account has been flagged due to location inconsistencies or other activities indicating a connection to violations of our Terms of Service". I was shocked by this response as there hadn't been such an issue in the past. After some sorrowful time, I replied to the ticket mentioning that there hadn't been any such activity that would violate Fiverr's policy, and I can not even think of doing that as Fiverr is my sole source of income and I can't afford to lose it. I got another response from Fiverr CS with a slightly different reason for account closure "Your account was flagged for being connected to another account that was disabled due to a violation of our policies".

 @Lyndsey_Fiverr @Kesha @ana_tomy  My tickets are being automatically marked as solved, and based on this forum, I see that many people are facing the same thing. We, freelancers, work really hard to get to such levels and create a profile that the buyer community trusts, it's a shame that we are being pushed away from this platform in such an inhumane manner. It is kindly requested that this matter be looked upon again and resolved ASAP! as many of us Freelancers have Fiverr as our primary source of clients and, hence primary source of income.

@milos_siena I received an email about a violation of Community Standards and Terms of Service, but I don't know the reason. I've never provided my contact information since joining Fiverr. My gigs are about data analysis and data scraping. using Python and R. Fiverr is my only source of income at the moment. Please help.

Hi @milos_siena, I know that creating multiple accounts on Fiverr is against the Fiverr policy. I only have this single active account and I don't think I have any other inactive account on Fiverr, other than the one I am using and earning from. I have also verified it using the only two Google emails I have with the "Login using Google" feature.
I think this should have been mentioned in the ticket that was raised with Customer Service and I could have cleared any ambiguity over there. Can we chat about this or you can let me know a way to communicate on this, I think this is an error and I am unjustly pushed down, I have spent a lot of time working on this profile and worked hard to raise it to the level it was on before being flagged.

I completely understand you. In these situations, the support team doesn't change its decision. Us mods can only ask them to review once more, which I did. Wait for 14. March, maybe you will get new clients after that - we are still not sure what it will look like for users who will get downgraded to the New seller level.

@milos_siena Thank you for providing us with the situational update and for being considerate towards small freelancers like myself. It is disheartening to see that the hard work we have put in all these years might be disregarded due to the latest update and the mass flagging of accounts. Even though I do not have any additional accounts, I fear that I would lose my years of hard work.
