Designers, you understand the art of proportion, typography, and grids. Your buyers however are less familiar with these aspects. Therefore when they use Logo Maker, we advise showing them completed designs, with a range of diversity, so that they can see if it matches their needs.

Well-presented work is everything: Some buyers may choose not to purchase a logo if they don't like the layouts provided. And so - we suggest giving them options that are very professional and differ in variation so that they are more likely to buy what you’re selling.

Remember to take into account the many different uses of a logo, such as social media, business cards, and more -add vertical and horizontal options.

Tip- Keep in mind that the user already has the "Suggested Layouts" feature in the editor which is used to automatically generate great suggestions. Try creating options that are unique to your style of work instead.

I've checked your example layouts and saw that you have some options without the slogan - just the logo name. I've never done that. How does that work?

If the client has a slogan - will Fiverr suggest those designs to him? And how will they look?

And what about the opposite? If the client doesn't have a slogan - will Fiverr suggest him design options that have a slogan line included in the design? Or will he only see designs planned for use without a slogan?

It is recommended you use a slogan in all your variations. If the buyer doesn't have one it will disappear from their examples.

Dear @vanadium1st,

We used layout examples as if they are were purchased designs. It's always better to keep the options open and add a slogan to all variations. As @marioland said- If the buyer doesn't have a slogan the logo will show up without the slogan 🙂 Try to aim as broad as possible to accommodate a large portion of the buyers (with slogan, without slogan, long brand name, short brand name).

Sometimes including a slogan may alter the placement of the icon and/or Brand Name. Is it best to separate this into 2 variations — one aligned for just the logo + brand name and one that aligns all three? Or keep all three in one and hope the user will realign the brand name themselves if they do not include a slogan?

I want to add a few things. While designing a logo we should keep following things in mind:

1-Design should be related to a specific business category , sub category or niche and we must have some knowledge of that business category / niche otherwise we should do some research on it.

2-We should decide one logo category / style at starting point eg:  3D , Minimalist , Mascot , Famine , water color , modern, vintage , luxury etc

3-After identifying business category and logo style we can decide about color , font, mockups , background and design options.

4-After above all three steps finally should design the logo using with a professional designer eye and creative mind.

5-We should provide different layouts keeping in mind different uses of logos eg  social media , profile images, packaging designs, website header placement etc.

6-Logo should be simple and memorable

7- For a brand,  logo should be iconic or there should be unique fonts for brand name.

8- We should include a tagline with unique style and fonts with nice placement under the logo as an option.

9- Different mockup backgrounds should be provided.

Understood, makes total sense 🙂 Thank you!
