when I create a gig video ( just a slide video ). 
which better?
self voice or
I can use background music.

Of course! self voice is better than music. But make sure that your voice is clear or easy to understand.

Heeey! It's better to use your voice, but provided that you have a good microphone and a clear speech. Also, you can put quiet music on the background, which will not distract from speech 🙂

see there are few points, like using your own voice will help buyer to trust. But if you are using BG music then go for animated kind of stuff. it will look cooler and professional i guess.

 

But at the end do what seems more professional to you because its not necessary that if something looks good to you looks good to others that's why choosing to be professional is way better!

I think Self voice is better than music. But you can use any of these.

Its better if you add a video on your Gig. Because it attracts 40% more attention of buyers. So if you use your own voice it'll be the best also you can use a soft musics. Don't just go with heavy metal background music. Do try to find copyright free background music which will attract more buyers.

Speech in gig videos isn't a necessity (unless your gig specifically involves your voice) but utilizing terrible sounding audio or robo-voices, in my opinion, is worse than just a bland royalty free music bed.
