4 Star review on my first order

I have just completed very first order. The buyer was very happy ,he mentioned it through inbox. Even he put a very good comment on the review though he gave 4 stars to me. Now I can’t send any buyer requests. Never felt so demotivated as I have produced everything buyer asked even I gave him extras. Please give me some suggestions how can I stand up from this situation. 🙂

Sorry to hear that brother @sahed_mahmud. But as buyer already gave you 4 start so now there is no way to change it anymore. As you said you can’t able to send buyer request anymore, In that point i can only suggest you one thing is to do marketing of your gigs. it can help you to get more orders and then when you are above 4.5 star then you can again send buyer requests. So keep it up and best of luck.

Yeah, that is kinda odd. If you look at other reputable marketplaces, on average products/services have 3.5-4.5 stars total rating. And that is pretty good.

= Worthless
= Bad, but not the worst
= Average
= Great
= Perfect

So Fiverr’s 4.7 average rating requirement to be accepted as a full seller without losing levels or features is pretty ridiculous. Especially when considering that many buyers don’t understand the rating system from what I have read here on the Forum. So many sellers get few stars, but a very praising feedback.

So in my opinion 4 stars should be the minimum requirement. 4 stars means your service is great! So you should be happy, and ignore if Fiverr thinks it’s not a good review. There will be plenty more reviews, and most will be 5 stars. 🙂 Just keep up the good work!

And a common mistake some new sellers make is they contact the buyer and ask about why they gave a specific review. Never do that, as it’s not allowed.

Dear, sorry it's too late but I think this could help any other who has the same issue. There are new buyers many a time and they do like this, but don't worry just contact the buyer and ask if he is not happy with your services, or if he need anything else if he replied good then ask him reason for the 4 stars, and if he said he doesn't that it would be a bad impact then tell him that you can correct it by contacting to Fiverr support and they will read the review wording and then understand that buyer did this mistakenly then they will correct it. That's it

That risks customer support thinking the seller is pressuring the buyer to change the review and giving the seller a warning. It's probably best not to ask the buyer about the review they gave in case Fiverr thinks that's pressuring them about it too.
