Should I work with milstones?

A buyer asked for and example of the work for (price), if it is okay we will continue the complete work (for an additional price)
For experts, Is it better to work every one in Separately as 2 orders, or working with milstones??

A milestone wouldn’t apply here because the purpose of the sample is to ascertain if you are a food fit for him. A milestone is part of a full order which the buyer has indicated he hasn’t decided to do yet.
