Order cancellation issues

I have a problem that a client gave me a direct offer. But the problem is that there a lot of problems to complete it I am not explaining now. now I want to cancel it. please give me a suggestion that will not be the effect on my profile .what would be better if clients cancel the order or me cancel the order?

Either way it will affect your account, there is no way around it.

As @joshvoices4you says, there is little you can do. A cancellation is a cancellation regardless of who initiates it. Cancel the order, cut your losses and move on if there is no way to complete the order.
